25/12/2025: Everything was very good, the atmosphere and staff were welcoming.
24/12/2025: Everything was really good, the two waiters were kind and helpful, the owner seemed nice, but I had a little mishap. I found a worm in the porcini mushrooms that were with my polenta. I've worked in a restaurant and I know that happens and that it doesn't directly determine the quality of the mushrooms, but I kindly pointed it out to a waiter anyway, asking to change the dish, and I showed him the caterpillar on a teaspoon (it was glaringly obvious that it was a giant porcini maggot). He goes to the kitchen, and shortly after my family and I see the employees arguing among themselves, the cook arrives and passive-aggressively insists on explaining to me that it's impossible for it to be a worm and that, well, I couldn't be right, calling me stupid. My relatives and I were all confident, we almost laughed, I didn't even know what to say, I insisted a little and he continued to contradict me. I don't know where they put the worm, which I moved to the spoon on purpose to show him in the kitchen, but anyway, this guy didn't believe me or was just pretending, I don't know. The fact is, in these cases I'm not necessarily saying "the customer is always right," but you have to be a little more accommodating. Having done that job, I think my reaction was very calm and I think I was well-disposed. I've seen people panic over things like that, but I still found a worm on my plate. In the end, they brought me back an identical plate, where I found another small maggot, but I didn't dare tell anyone. It was very good, as I said at the beginning. I paid for it anyway, and that was it. Merry Christmas 🤟🏻
