Excellent restaurant with Piedmontese dishes and excellent wines, comfortable rooms, breakfast with fabulous homemade cakes... it feels like home. Once upon a time... a pleasant discovery: a refined country-style location, delicious dishes, impeccable service, and a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. A fine selection of wines from the Asti Langhe and Monferrato regions.

I didn't like sausage and I tried the pasta with ragu and sausage and I liked it a lot

I stayed this weekend. I was looking for a place to stay while visiting Monferrato. The location is excellent, nestled in the Monferrato vineyards. It's a rustic property with a touch of the past, furnished in authentic, rustic style. It's family-run, passionately and exemplarily well-managed. We booked bed and breakfast, but once we discovered the cuisine on our arrival night, we decided to return the following evening. You can enjoy traditional Piedmontese dishes, without frills, but made with excellent ingredients, enhanced by simple yet authentic cuisine and home-made flavors. The braised veal in Barbera wine, the Castelmagno gnocchi, the stuffed rabbit, and the appetizers, including a selection of cheeses, honey, and compotes, are all excellent. Among the desserts, the lemon and herb sorbet is a must-try...a sensory experience! The wine selection is excellent. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable. The spacious bathroom is beautiful and clean. The linens, towels, and bathrobes are absolutely unexpected. The amenities, in addition to shampoo, also include a shaving kit, a travel toothbrush and toothpaste, soaps, and a shower cap. It has a swimming pool overlooking the countryside. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended; if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be stopping for at least one dinner. Wines from nearby wineries are available for purchase.

Typical Piedmontese cuisine, welcoming atmosphere

We spent one night in this beautiful place, surrounded by vineyards and lush nature. The room was super comfortable, the food delicious, everything made with love and kindness. The owners felt like we'd known them forever; exquisite, to say the least. Thank you, "C'era una volta" (Once Upon a Time) for making us feel at home. See you soon!!!

Dinner with friends was a great success. Ale was spectacular, but the food wasn't good... what's more, my risotto was incredible.
