We found this place in the recommendations of Italian excellence. Excellent cuisine and super-abundant dishes, a place where the quality of the product reigns supreme. We met the managers, Gabriel and Emily, who immediately proved to be truly exquisite people. We will definitely be back.

A pizzeria and restaurant popular with locals, located a bit outside of Castiglione del Lago. Very good pizza, friendly staff, and ample parking. If you're passing by, it's definitely worth a stop.

We spontaneously went to C'era una Volta on the day we arrived. We were quite late at 9:30 p.m., so we were lucky to get a table. The restaurant was completely packed—it was basically all Italian, which is actually promising. We had two pizzas, two tagliata with fries, and one crostini with chicken livers for three children. We also had a liter of vino bianco de la Casa. The portions were huge, too large for our taste. The pizzas weren't to our liking (thin and relatively hard/dry, but as everyone knows, pizzas differ in taste). The meat was okay, but overall, we've had better food in the area. With a €100 bill, it was still okay. The service was good and fast, but rather impersonal. I don't know if we'd go again...

The pizza wasn't to my liking because it was extremely thin, but maybe that's just their way of making it. Otherwise, I found it good, but wasn't particularly impressed. The service was good and fast. There were five of us and we had reservations. Overall, nothing exceptional.

Locale grande e molto ospitale anche se piuttosto antico
Abbiamo mangiato la pizza è ci è piaciuta nonostante la volessimo tutti integrale ma non è stato possibile visto che non la fanno

Di passaggio dopo uno spensierato pomeriggio al lago del Trasimeno ci siamo fermati per caso in questo locale a Castiglion del Lago che ha colpito subito per gentilezza e accoglienza del personale nonché pulizia che non è mai scontata. Pizze ottime! Abbiamo preso una norcina ed una emilona con prezzi nella media ma dimensioni più che generose. Non mancheremo di tornare appena il lavoro lo permetterà.
