... in una sera di bora. Siamo entrati per riscaldarci con un paio di grappe, ed è stata una bellissima sorpresa trovare un locale lontano delle rotte turistiche, con un servizio schietto e spontaneo, vorrei proprio ritornarci per la cena, l'impressione è stata ottima.

Super atmosphere, lovely position, delicious drinks at reasonable prices and tasty food. What more can you ask?

The place is located in a very characteristic and intimate corner of Trieste thanks to the small square where the tables are located. Good and fast service.. For the food.. normal prices as well as the portions.. I expected something more from the sandwich we ordered.. problem with the bread... I expected a crunchy ciabatta rather than a milk bread type suitable for a hamburger.. oh well...

Came across this restaurant from an online blog and loved the experience. Wonderful atmosphere eating outdoors, in the fine weather where the place was full, not crowded, buzzing but not so loud one couldn't have a conversation. Child and Dog friendly too which is a bonus. Staff were very friendly, the food and wine didn't disappoint. If I'm ever back in Trieste I'll be sure to come back here.

What a nice surprise in Trieste! During our walk through the city we came across Cemüt and we were immediately enthusiastic. The staff is super friendly and hospitable - you immediately feel welcome. The food was delicious, with tasty snacks and all at a good price. The drinks were also great. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, perfect for taking a break during a city walk. We will definitely come back!

Ham and cheese sandwiches on bun with “frico”. The server said “frico is melted cheese with salt and herbs. It’s a State of Mind”! It was delicious! Food served on bread boards. Another fun tidbit is that the sandwiches were wrapped in a food wrapper of a newspaper article written in English about the upturn in investment in Vietnam on one side and a crossword puzzle on the other. Funny. I did forget to photograph the sandwich as we were so hungry from the castle visit but did photograph the funny wrapper and I had a screen shot of the menu photo. They have a huge patio with a ton of seating and a smaller intimate interior space. We sat inside and it was lovely.

Very nice and simple place, in a strategic position. The cold cuts and the frico are very good. The price is a bit high.

Locale tipico del posto dove gustare a pranzo o a cena piccoli cicchetti di prodotti friulani; tutto buonissimo, dai salumi alla polenta, servito in tempi brevi e a costi abbastanza contenuti. Consigliabile prenotare perché il locale si riempie in fretta.
