Pretty outdoor seating for an evening drink with friendly service.

Practically a small neighborhood, with the nice clarification between Cemut above and Cemut below, like the villages on the hills, full of outdoor tables, the atmosphere is friendly, the service is quick and the price is decidedly below average. The menu includes platters of all kinds, often with polenta combined with cured meats and cheeses, in short, beautiful, enjoyable dishes. The white spritz goes down like a pleasure. In short, an excellent place for an aperitif or after dinner.

Lovely atmosphere! We stopped for frackara (polenta with frant and polenta with varhackara) and drank Aperol Spritz! Such a lovely place!

Hospitality, Friulian cuisine, wine and smiles. Everything was excellent, we came from Rome and returning to Trieste we will definitely be at Cemut

Local immersed in the historic district of Trieste. The choice of wines and the selection of canapés are excellent.

A characteristic and perfect place for an aperitif in the center of Trieste. A youthful place with various proposals for typical Friulian food and we drank well. Unfortunately it is not possible to book and considering that it is a very popular place I recommend arriving early. The staff are friendly although the service is slightly chaotic. Gluten-free options for the aperitif.

They have many tables, almost enough to occupy the entire square. Despite this, the service remains quite fast.

Pranzo veloce… consumato un tagliere misto, buono ma non eccezionale… preso piatto tipico “Frico”, non di mio gusto anche perché troppo fritto, accompagnato da una polenta buonissima.

Abbiamo assaggiato il tagliere di salumi e formaggi locali, la polenta, il frico, polentine tipiche (scusate ma avevano nomi difficili 😅) e lo spritz bianco. Tutto buono e tipico del posto. I tempi di attesa sono piuttosto variabili nel corso della serata, ma sembrano sempre disponibili a cercare un posticino per tutti
