A shop where you can find everything from fresh pasta to cured meats. Parmesan cheese aged up to 100 months! Delicious and delicate pink pork mortadella...and truly delicious fresh pasta. I'll definitely be back to try other products.

I bought from here parmezan, their special cheese, tortellini, Prosciutto coto and crudo, I only tried the Prosciutto and special cheese so far and parmezan, they are very good. You do have to stay in line.

Located on Via Pescherie Vecchie, right in the noisy, colorful heart of the medieval market, this shop has been run by the Ceccarelli family for generations. While many surrounding shops have pivoted to selling overpriced snacks to tourists, Ceccarelli remains a serious salumeria (deli) trusted by locals for their Sunday lunch ingredients.

A bit of Bologna in Messina, I placed an order after the Immaculate Conception, and everything arrived perfectly. The balanzoni are exceptional, and today I received 25 fresh gramigna with sausage ragù. The Parmesan cheese, over 40 months old, is delicious, not to mention the mortadella. Thanks again for the kind gift. Professional and competent.

A cozy restaurant with excellent food. The many books make it feel like a library. Beautifully decorated. Very friendly and attentive staff. Definitely recommended.

Bar Osteria Il Moretto

04/02/2026: More of a pub than a tavern, especially considering the not exactly affordable prices. The culinary offering is limited but honest in quality and quantity. The wine is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the place is intimate and comfortable.
11/12/2025: Excellent restaurant serving traditional regional cuisine. A platter of cured meats and cheeses is carefully prepared using excellent ingredients. The parmigiana is also good.
