The best restaurant in all of Rome! Pizza, pasta, desserts, and everything else are simply perfect. It’s our fifth time at this restaurant. Everything is prepared to a high standard, and the service is exceptional! The atmosphere is family-friendly, and it’s especially enjoyable to return again and again. Definitely worth a visit to experience authentic Italian cuisine.

I can’t even begin to describe what an amazing experience this was. Our tour guide recommended we come here for an authentic Italian kosher meal. Our waiter, Chen, immediately saw that we, as Americans who don’t speak Italian, were a little overwhelmed at the menu. Not to mention the fact that one of us was gluten-free and one of us didn’t eat cheese! He was not to be dismayed. He patiently took us through the menu in English and found us appetizers, mains, and desserts that were out of this world. He was attentive to us throughout the meal and always had his eye on us. I have never seen such service! After the delicious meal, the owner offered to get us a taxi and enlisted the help of her daughter and chef (maybe she was related too?) who were all more than willing to help us out. While we waited, we chatted with the owner’s family, who were eating at the restaurant, who were so unbelievably kind to us. It was a unique, special experience that I feel privileged to have had while we were in Italy. We will definitely be back on our next visit!

Bionissima pizzeria with the great classics of Roman-Jewish cuisine. AMAZING fried anchovies, and the pizza is one of the traditional ones, the dough is thin and almost impalpable, crunchy and full of seasonings. I ate two in one evening.

We just were there and had a great time. They were able to switch to English right away once it turned out we were tourists. Everything we ordered had that special touch and was prepared with love. Can recommend the choco soufflet - it's worth the 15 min wait. After we arrived the restaurant quickly filled with Italians and a couple of families were there with kids. If the Italians eat there you know it must be good. Definitely come here especially if you are bored of the tourist places.

It wasn't the first time for us in this restaurant. What shocked me the most is that, every time they say that pizzas take time and recommend taking an appetizer... The pizza is good, too thin for my taste but the products are of quality.

I always eat at this place with great pleasure. The secret to being served well, but this applies to any restaurant, are: 1) avoid Saturday evenings at 9pm 2) sit at the table with a maximum of 6/8 people.

11/01/2025: Painfully Mid cheap- €19 for Carnonara and a beer- but service took longer than I’d like even though the restaurant was empty and carbonara was a bit too gooey for my liking. Music was a bit too loud for 4 PM as well. Everyone was pretty chill tho.
03/01/2025: Top venue in Trastevere in the heart of Roman nightlife, professional and kind staff, beautiful location frequented by tourists and Romans, where you can often also listen to good live music. I recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

Hotel Locarno Rome Restaurant

13/01/2025: This is a unique hotel. Each room is different and I could not find a single detail that was anything less than perfect. Here you get the experience and service of a top 5star luxury hotel with the personable experience of a boutique hotel. The bar has unique drinks on the menu and I definitely recommend the 'Wolf, I solve problems' an enchanting gin based fizz that I have to hold myself from ordering more. Although now it's a bit on the chilly side in the evenings, it's still time to sit in the courtyard terrace that is so quaint with the additional perk of being able to enjoy a cigar. The first thing that hits you when you enter the hotel is the kind smiles of all the personnel. Everyone is so genuinely and warmly nice, that you just feel at home from the first moment. When I left Rome the time I spent at the Locarno left me another warm memory as it had a big part in making my stay most pleasant also for my friends who visited me there. It's not the first time I stay there and surely not the last one either! Finally for those in search of a little more than the the intimate experience, the salons of the Locarno a populated with famous journalists, TV and movie stars, and many faces that you will be familiar with. Of course nobody bothers them with pictures or asks for authographs, in line with the low profile style of the house. I'm very picky on service, and this is one of the very few places I can recommend with no reservations.
28/12/2024: We went for the bar, which is known for its cocktails. The sitting areas were beautiful- super cozy and decorated nicely for Christmas. But we were told that there were no tables available, even though the various rooms were all largely open throughout the time we were there. The cocktails were very good, but not revolutionary and given the stuffiness of the service, I wouldn’t necessarily go back again.
