Nice place. Central location. Fast service. Relatively low cost for Bolzano. Highly recommended.

Came here with a friend on a budget. Blown away by the decor, service, and condiments on the table. Food was affordable enough if one takes only the first course - ranging from 9 to 13 €. We took Schlutzkrapfen with butter and parmesan, a speciality of the region (10.30€), and were not disappointed. Delicious dish with parmesan à volonté, 10/10. Being financially restricted, we asked for tap water. This was duly provided, and there was no issue with it until it was time to pay the bill. We were charged an additional 2€, 1€ per person, for the tap water. Upon inquiry, we were informed that if you take only tap water, and no wine, you are charged for the tap water. While not necessarily an unfair policy, what was however unprofessional, sneaky and somewhat scammy was the fact that this wasn't written anywhere, nor were we informed upon asking for tap water, and confirming that we wanted only tap water. In all other aspects the service and food was impeccable, so I have left the overall rating at 5 stars, and dropped the service rating by only 1 star

Good South Tyrolean cuisine, quick service without too many frills, generous portions to try

We decided to eat here for some local food. We enjoyed the Austria food but the winner of the night was the spaghetti carbonara. It was execptional and I would order it over anything else on the menu. Service was a bit slow at the begining but then was effecient. Nothing fancy or extravagant about this place but good solid food.

Bel locale con ampio salone, arredamento informale, tavoli alla giusta distanza per la privacy. Personale abbastanza distaccato, poca empatia, molto indaffarato a servire ai tavoli dove probabilmente ci sono troppi clienti per il personale che serve. A tale riguardo un appunto: quando siamo arrivati eravamo in piedi in attesa che si liberasse un tavolo. Ci è stata proposta una soluzione poco carina, cioè quella di condividere il nostro tavolo con altri ospiti. Data l'ora l'alternativa era quella di andarcene e trovare un altro locale. Peccato perchè non abbiamo mangiato male e il rapporto qualità prezzo è stato buono. Però bisognerebbe evitare queste soluzioni affazzonate così da non trattare i clienti come numeri ma come persone. E' anche sulla qualità del servizio che ci si gioca la credibilità e la qualità. Senza questa mancanza di attenzione il punteggio avrebbe potuto essere migliore. Sarà per una eventuale prossima volta

Oggi abbiamo visitato la città di Bolzano e per pranzo ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante in cui eravamo stati alcuni anni fa. Non accettano prenotazioni e si fa la fila per entrare. Oggi ci è andata bene e abbiamo atteso pochissimi minuti. Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Abbiamo preso il piatto del contadino, con wurstel, puntina di maiale, salsiccia, canederlo, patate e crauti. Piatto abbondante, uno fatica a mangiarlo, noi l'abbiamo diviso. Canederlo troppo asciutto, il resto tutto ok. Infine strudel con pallina di gelato alla vaniglia, veramente ottimo
