21/05/2025: Almost everything was excellent even if...
• Very efficient booking, I asked for a move shortly before due to my delay and I was immediately satisfied.
• Very nice environment, we had lunch in the tavern which is really nice, light pleasant background music.
• Not fast service. It was necessary to ask for the first courses to come out. However, it must be said that the place was full so it was acceptable.
• Quite a negative note, my dish. For two we had:
- trio of canederli, really delicious!
- chips as a side dish/appetizer really good, crispy not very greasy, perfectly salted.
- first course with venison ragù, very good and the right portion size.
- my dish was a crispy pork shank which I didn't like. I find it wrong to prepare it in such a simple way, it seemed simply put in the oven, it should instead be cooked with beer or in any case in such a way as to create a sauce that can accompany and also alleviate the strong flavor of the pork that at times had almost nauseated me (the quality was there I'm only talking about the choice of preparation, unfortunately it was not pleasant to the palate indeed!). In addition to this the meat was very dry, I left some.
Due to the slowness of the service I got up, paid and left. I would have gladly had a coffee. In general good cuisine, do not take the shank, for the service be more careful, I advise the waiters to look more carefully at the room if the customer needs it, it is not my duty to "flail around" in the room and try to meet the waiter's gaze.
In general I give a 3.5/5 which I round to 4/5 however deserved for the other courses.
With just one water, total €68. At the checkout I ask to be a little more correct, I won't add anything else.
18/05/2025: Excellent break with typical cuisine in a typical setting, especially for tourists. The goodness and quality of the dishes are ok, the prices are not excessively high, but it is certainly not a trattoria / Gasthof, nor a haute cuisine restaurant.
