The best fish dinner ever tasted in the hinterland of our area! A place of the heart!

If you are in this beautiful and evocative village of Badolato, a stop at this restaurant is certainly "obligatory" where the kindness and professionalism of the managers combined with a beautiful context will remain in your mind. Featuring a magnificent cellar with inside and outside seating, pleasant atmosphere with music in the background, excellent tasting menu with small portions to enjoy everything until the end. Wine chosen to match the dishes with an overall medium-high price.

We went to the restaurant on the recommendation of our B&B and we're so pleased we did. The set menu changes every day depending on what's available and for us it was fish. 5 delicious courses with a lovely bottle of white. Great service and excellent value at just over 100 Euros for two.

Badolato,uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia, e in una viuzza stretta si arriva su di una terrazza panoramica fantastica, prima il tramonto poi la luna.....Catojo dello Spinetto. Cucina semplice con prodotti che offre il mercato di prima mattina, pesce o carne , menù creativo a seconda delle idee dello Chef. Menù fisso , 5 portate , due antipasti un primo un secondo e dolce. Vino Calabro ottimo, un buon rosé. Cozze e polpo come antipasto Pasta a base pesce spada Branzino al forno con verdure Cannolo scomposto come dolce. Un'occhio di riguardo per i bimbi con pasta al pomodoro o cotoletta con patatine. Acqua caffè amaro e coperto per un'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Non il solito ristorante turistico,quelli sono sulla piazza principale. Complimenti ragazzi

Badolato, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and in a narrow street you arrive on a fantastic panoramic terrace, first the sunset then the moon.....Catojo dello Spinetto. Simple cuisine with products offered by the early morning market, fish or meat, creative menu depending on the Chef's ideas. Fixed menu, 5 courses, two starters, a first course, a second course and dessert. Excellent Calabro wine, a good rosé. Mussels and octopus as a starter Swordfish based pasta Baked sea bass with vegetables Cannoli decomposed as dessert. Special attention should be given to children with pasta with tomato sauce or cutlet with chips. Bitter and covered coffee water for an excellent quality/price ratio. Not the usual tourist restaurant, those are on the main square. Congratulations guys

Cibo eccellente e curatissimo preparato dal bravissimo chef Ciro in una cornice affascinante e romantica. Abbiamo passato una splendida serata apprezzando ogni boccone del menù degustazione, con pesce freschissimo, impiatto curato e porzioni 'giuste'. Il menù cambia ogni sera, quindi non ha senso consigliare un piatto in particolare anche perché erano tutti di ottimo livello. Personale sollecito e Ciro è una vera forza della natura con un'autentica passione (e talento) per la cucina. Ottima scoperta!! PS anche il vino di accompagnamento era molto buono!!

A must for a dinner in Badolato... The place is magnificent, nestled in an alley, the small panoramic terrace with a view of the hill is an invitation to a moment of calm and relaxation. The staff and chef take great care to ensure you have a wonderful time at the table. The cuisine is authentic, very well constructed, fresh, full of flavors and perfectly proportioned. A 5-course menu was served to us based on the theme of the sea to introduce you to the delights of Calabrian cuisine... a little gem to discover!

An absolute must in Badolato. Rarely eaten so well, really, really good and exceptional. Craziness. Price and quality top. Great service, great ambience. Keep it up! We're coming back.
