Magical place, Giorgia and Giovanni always available and very kind! Superlative food, especially the starters!!! Rating 10/10!

My brother got married here in 2019 (right before the pandemic) and we were absolutely blown away by the view, the service, the delicious food and the beautiful town of Assisi. We stayed three nights and they let us rent out the whole building for all the visitors. Would love to come back one of these days!

Attending a wedding here and was absolutely stunning! The property is massive overlooking the country side of Umbria. There are so many different spot throughout the venue to host various elements of your party. The Welcome Dinner was held on the terrace with lovely flowers overlooking the country and clay tennis courts. The ceremony was held out in one of the large open lawns with a breathtaking landscape blooming with flowers, herbs and olive trees. Cocktail hour was just above the ceremony spot throughout gardens under shaded canopy’s and the food was amazing! In true Italian fashion, cocktail hour could have been dinner by itself featuring paninis, local cheeses and vegetables, pizzas, freshly sliced prosciutto and fried vegetables. Most of the food was farm to table directly from the property. Dinner moved to the terrace right outside the venue with ivy coming down the brick walls and string lights hanging over the beautifully decorated tables. A multi course dinner was served just before a surprise firework show. Finally, there was another part of the property with a glass house where the DJ was located for the dancing part of the night. This is one of the best weddings I’ve attended and highly recommend the property as a wedding venue or even if you are looking for a remote holiday. You could absolutely spend a few days here enjoying the beautiful pool, walking the truffle and olive trails, clay tennis courts and taking in the sunset views.

Truly the most beautiful venue for a wedding. The staff was friendly and professional—it is abundantly clear the staff here is accustomed to handling weddings. They put on a fabulous event.

Private and perfect. From the moment we arrived the hospitality was warm, welcoming, organized and professional. We had a day event / 2 night stay and it was wonderful. Highest recommendation. Traveler from NYC and Ohio.

The perfect wedding venue! Immaculately maintained grounds with lots of areas with benches, chairs, and tables for gathering. Awesome view of the valley! The fireworks after the wedding vows were a pleasant surprise! Excellent food and service throughout the duration of the event and a vibrant reception hall with an upbeat atmosphere.

We had our wedding at Castello Petrata earlier this week. It still hasn’t sunk in how perfect this experience was for us and our guests. The venue is breathtaking and has some of the best views in Italy. The food and drinks were delicious, not just during our wedding events, but also for breakfast/lunch and hanging out by the pool for the guests staying at the property. The service was top notch. The staff was attentive and welcoming each step of the way. Everything was coordinated seamlessly like a fancy hotel, but without any hint of pretentiousness. Thank you Giovanni, Giorgia, Alessandra and the rest of your team for a remarkable time.

We were here for a wedding and it was absolutely magical

We had our wedding here, and everything was perfect. Giorgia, Giovanni, Luca, and the excellent staff did everything to make it the wedding of our dreams. The food was amazing, the venue was stunning, the rooms were beautiful, the view breathtaking, the table settings were astonishing, and the list could go on. In addition to all this, we always felt very comfortable as they had everything organized and planned thoroughly, as well as being able to be flexible during the days. We simply couldn’t have wished for a better wedding and are definitely coming back to relive the memories. Astrid and Rasmus
