Typically Tuscan restaurant, with well-cooked and abundant dishes. Modest prices. It feels like home. The welcome and friendliness of the owners Luca and Alessandra are a further added value of this place in the heart of Chianti.

It's taken me a while to get to this.. we stayed here while biking through Tuscany in May of 1999 and I found it on the map just now. Such good memories. The owner at the time joined our group in the gardens behind the hotel after a long ride. He and his wife brought wine and food and we all had a wonderful time. Grazie Mille!

Sono andato per lavoro, il ristorante ottimo qualità prezzo. per le camere buono il servizio, una esperienza di sonno ottima forse una delle migliori. Dovete accettare la puzza di pipì di gatto nei locali comuni ma nelle stanze va tutto bene perchè le stanze seppur vecchie sono ottime, non fredde. esperienza d'epoca.

I give 5 stars for the welcome, cleanliness and simplicity. The breakfast is plentiful, fruit, various flavors of yogurt, croissants, tea and coffee, ... I highly recommend.

A wonderful place. Authentic, with the soul and atmosphere of home. Run in a slightly old style by hosts who live in the same building. The lack of luxuries is made up for by the very rare atmosphere of a true, old-style Italian ristorante. Before the Internet and the flood of tourists. Magic

Simple but clean bed and breakfast with a lovely host. The restaurant offers great local dishes and a fantastic choice in wine!

02/12/2024: Sabato sera, bel menu, sia bolognese tipico, ma con interessanti alternative. Mangiato molto bene, buon servizio amichevole. Unico neo, ma e’ un fatto personale, solo vini biologici, che non amo tantissimo. Anche i dessert molto buoni. Location bellissima soprattutto d’estate. Sono anche locanda.
18/09/2024: This is not the first time I visited Fattorie di Montechiaro. Great food, great service and a fantastic atmosphere. The view from the terrace is to die for!!! A perfect place to relax after visiting Bologna or if you are driving down to Tuscany. Highly recommended.

27/02/2025: Ristorante caratteristico. Cucina casalinga e con portate molto abbondanti. Menù fisso. Tutto molto buono. Passatelli e arrostichetto eccezionali come anche le pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale.
16/09/2024: Ambiente alla buona cibo normale niente che lascia il segno , l’ idea del menu può piacere o meno ( non a me personalmente) prezzi comunque onesti in linea con quello che si mangia Piccolo disguido risolto con la prenotazione . Consiglio vivamente al momento che il cliente ordina una bottiglia di vino di aprirla direttamente al tavolo e non portare già aperta e’ buona regola
