Excellent place for a meat-based dinner with a lovely view. We returned after a few years, and the quality and service are still the same.

A restaurant nestled in the hills near Montecatini Terme, with a beautiful view (recommended at sunset).
To get there, it's best to take your time along the road, as it's quite narrow.
In September, I found a good number of tables full (mostly locals), so the waiters were a bit sloppy but still helpful.
The selection is varied and focused on meats, including Florentine steak and sirloin.
Among the dishes I tried on my way here: mixed bruschetta, Alpine-style sirloin, and cantucci with Vin Santo.
I really enjoyed the sirloin, as it was perfectly cooked, and the porcini mushrooms on top (photo) had a tender texture and intense flavor.
I recommend it for a quality dinner, even for special occasions.

Truly excellent restaurant, with generous portions. We had appetizers, first courses, and a Florentine steak. The appetizer was for one person, but two could easily eat it. The first courses were very good, and the Florentine steak was amazing. The fried mushrooms were also good. Beautiful view, considering it's a bit of a climb from Massa and Cozzile. Good value for money. The only drawback is the parking. We recommend parking on the street without going down to the restaurant, or, if there's space, parking in front of the restaurant. On the uphill slope, there's limited space and the gravel makes it difficult to get going. Recommended.

Consigliato da un residente di Montecatini conosciuto per caso. Bella location in stile e con panorama.
Abbiamo preso Scottona in due e gnocchetti gorgonzola con miele di castagno ,un accostamento veramente equilibrato.
