A wonderful restaurant; I always visit it when I'm in Montecatini. The meat (steak) and Toscana antipasti and prosciutto with cheese are delicious. If you add some house (local) Toscana wine, it'll only cost €100 for three. I highly recommend it. The service is always friendly, it's a family-run restaurant, and they pay close attention to quality. We celebrated my sister's birthday here today. We asked for a good seat, and they gave us a seat by the fireplace. 😍 Thank you. However, for some reason, the restaurant doesn't offer a small birthday cake. You should reconsider that.

The place is very nice and large. We went at night. The view is very pretty, but I recommend going during the day for a better view. They have seating both inside and outside. The food was delicious. We ordered a prosciutto platter as antipasti, which was excellent. Then we ordered pastas (ragu ravioli and fettuccine with mushrooms), which were also well-made. The portion sizes were perfect. We didn't like the dessert as much. A kind of dark chocolate pancotta was a little overcooked for my taste. We had a very nice wine. We found the wine list a bit steep. The service was good. A beautiful secluded restaurant, excellent service, a beautiful wine list and an extensive menu many lovely options for vegetarians. Ambient soft lighting, set in a beautiful area. Waitress was polite and helpful.

A restaurant nestled in the hills near Montecatini Terme, with a beautiful view (recommended at sunset). To get there, it's best to take your time along the road, as it's quite narrow. In September, I found a good number of tables full (mostly locals), so the waiters were a bit sloppy but still helpful. The selection is varied and focused on meats, including Florentine steak and sirloin. Among the dishes I tried on my way here: mixed bruschetta, Alpine-style sirloin, and cantucci with Vin Santo. I really enjoyed the sirloin, as it was perfectly cooked, and the porcini mushrooms on top (photo) had a tender texture and intense flavor. I recommend it for a quality dinner, even for special occasions.
