An atypical, self-managed, open-air restaurant. A vibrant atmosphere, completely different from traditional dining. Proudly informal. The food is authentic, and the preparation varies (the kitchen seems to rotate). Service is provided by volunteers, so a little patience may be required, but it's always worth it. One of my favorite places from spring to fall.

I went here while in Rome and it was my favorite meal out of my whole trip. A true Italian restaurant off the beaten path. Everyone spoke Italian but there is a server who can speak some English. I made reservations through email because of this and they were very responsive and helpful. The service was excellent and they were so patient and helpful to assure we had a great experience. I cannot recommend this place enough. The food and wine were soooo good and affordable. If you go to Rome, this is a must stop location for food.

Good and special food. It has classics of Roman cuisine and some very good special dishes. In addition, the atmosphere is really nice and the prices are good, I recommend it!

Ristorante trovato per puro caso in pausa pranzo a lavoro. location molto caratteristica e direi anche piuttosto unica nel suo genere. chiari i riferimenti di carattere politico anche nei contesti scenografici e di abbigliamento del personale. avviamo pranzato in maniera divina un piatto di amatriciana con vino locale molto gradevole. ottime anche le polpette. Consigliato

08/08/2025: Characterful place, excellent quality, excellent service, wonderful owner and staff.
06/08/2025: Excellent restaurant. Everything is super high quality and I wish this was my neighborhood restaurant. The cacio e pepe was incredible and so were the meat (tagliata), and the carbonara. The tiramisu was exceptional and worth the trip!
