Cascina Cabella In Volpedo

Beautiful, well-maintained farmhouse! We celebrated my nephew's eighteenth birthday here and had a wonderful time! The kids had their own room with a private entrance, so they wouldn't disturb anyone else there for dinner! The owner was very kind in explaining how to decorate the room, suggesting the menu, and even provided the speaker for the music! We adults had dinner in a separate room and everything was to our liking! Recommended for both dinner and events!

Excellent farmhouse for lunch or for organizing events

A good, welcoming, and well-decorated place, perfectly suited to the countryside. With all this, you might imagine a menu full of traditions. But no. The menu was banal and run-of-the-mill. The only exception was a bottle of Timorasso, a rare local wine, and nothing more. What a shame.

The place is nice, but the times I've been there, I haven't eaten well.

Discovering Cascina Cabella almost by chance, we were immediately captivated by it. It's a charming location, slightly outside the town center and surrounded by greenery. We chose it as the venue for our wedding reception, and I must say it was a truly perfect choice, both for the space it offers and the food. We opted for an aperitif (which turned out to be very generous) served in the garden, followed by dinner in the indoor dining room (they even offered second courses), and finally the cake cutting in the outdoor courtyard. Everything was perfect; Anna and her staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and attentive to our and our guests' every need. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended! Easily accessible farmhouse, surrounded by greenery and far from the noise. A well-kept location, excellent cuisine with carefully selected ingredients. A good balance between quality and price.
