The food was excellent, quality and price really recommended despite being in the centre.
But the beauty of Cascia are the girls, whose kindness, helpfulness and cheerfulness are no small feat, despite the fact that they were half the staff. A thousand thanks!

Salve..passeggiando x il centro di Catania ci siamo soffermati su questo locale situato al centro di Catania..locale molto accogliente e servizio(dipendenti) molto cordiali e professionali incantevole la cameriera Angela che ci ha suggerito dei piatti e delle bevande ottime e sfiziose x esser la prima volta in qst bar sicuramente da conoscere..ci ritorneremo x la semplicità e la cordialità dei ragazzi..davvero complimenti

A place with a nice atmosphere to sip an afternoon prossecco or beer.
Unfortunately, the service was poor.
Waitresses working as if for punishment, no smiles or cordiality.
To sum up, the atmosphere and drinks are a plus.
One star less for service.

I read a lot of negative comments.
Personally, we ate well there.
The fish was very good, as were the fries. We received the baccala in paper bags and not on plates, but at the asking price I find this completely normal. My Italian is not perfect at all, so the waitress used the few French words she knows, and always with a smile.
I had interactions with two different waitresses, and I have no complaints about their friendliness.
Don't go there if you're looking for a 5-star restaurant, but rather if you're looking for a place that's easy to access with a nice welcome, good food at democratic prices.

The service was flawless, the staff were very polite and efficient.
The food was satisfactory, but the portions could be bigger. After all, it’s relatively affordable considering the location.
The staff recommended us Tiramisu which we loved so much we went back again the day after.

All Food Under 10.- we had horse meatball (it’s one) and Norma pasta. It’s good. Nothing special but for the price it’s good.

Sicily #4, Catania #4, Bar #2: were walking around and wanted to take a break/kill some time before lunch at Scirocco. Stumbled upon Cascia with outdoor seating amidst. the Piazza del Duomo
Ordered aperol spritz x2 €5.5/ea & a vino bianco €5. Did not order any food.
Drinks were fine, service was slow but fine, and the vibe was nice being in the piazza. Overall, I felt like everything was pretty average. Not a bad spot to have a drink or spend some time, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

I tried it on the fly but I didn't like it very much. The place may be very nice but the seats are uncomfortable. The food can be good but it must be fair to the prices which for me are not worth it. In fact the bill was a bit too much. At least it's in a good tourist area.
