Ruggero is iconic ❤️. What an amazingly vibey bar that focus on making sure people having a good time.

I'd say it's more of a quick aperitif, but it's really good. It's a rather light cocktail in my opinion, but not by much.

Excellent wine bar in a lovely alley in Taormina - close to everything but away from the crowds and chaos. The selection of wines were excellent and the guidance/recommendations from the manager were spot on. You can tell he loves his job as we watched sit down with several patrons to walk them through their selections. He shared the origins and details of the wine, explained all the flavors, was transparent about what was and was not worth the price. His pride in Sicily, its culture, food and wine is palpable. One of our favorite spots in the very beautiful but crowded city.

Friendly staff knows a lot about wine they also do wine tasting which I’m very interested in trying with them. Lovely end to our evening thank you. 🥂

Casamatta is a little gem away from the tourist bustle of Taormina: an authentic atmosphere, an excellent selection of natural wines, and a knowledgeable staff make for a pleasant and relaxing evening. If you appreciate a simple yet refined approach, a glass of quality wine, and an intimate setting, it's worth the price. The experience is well worth the extra few euros. If you're looking for great gourmet cuisine or a children's menu, you might want to consider something else.

Delicious wine with a knowledgeable guide! Really loved the location and the wine. The food was a little lackluster but that’s alright. Have dinner first and then come here for a nightcap!

Very cool place. Stands out in Taormina. Great wine selection. Food looked good but we didn't try it. However be mindful of the waiter (the owner?) -- we found him passionate, but also drunk & pretentious.
