Casale Girasole In Roma

We stayed at the Casale for my children's first communion. The staff was incredibly kind; Sara is wonderful and fulfilled my every request. The food was excellent, and my guests all had a wonderful time. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A large venue with many outdoor tables, located in the open countryside and accessible via a dirt road. It features outdoor children's games in the large space surrounding the tables. It's not the best place for those who want to chat with friends on birthday/baptism evenings, etc.

Good location, good food and excellent service.... you get to meet some very friendly goats.

Four of us went to this place for dinner. Surrounded by greenery, it's beautiful, but it has a slightly run-down feel. The toys are a bit rusty and broken, the tables and dishes are chipped and ruined. The atmosphere is rounded off by two goats roaming free, harassed and bullied by the many kids present. We had an appetizer for one person, a focaccia, two mixed grills, 1kg of Italian meat, two side dishes, three bottles of water, and four desserts...for the modest sum of €200...all good, no doubt about it, but €50 per person is perhaps a bit excessive. Did we have a bad evening? No. Will we return? I don't think so.

Sunday, May 10th, my father's 70th birthday. What can I say? It couldn't have gone better, from the welcome, to the atmosphere, the food, and the service—everything was truly perfect. The attention and care were there throughout the meal. Thanks to Sara and all her staff.

Punctuality, courtesy and excellent food created the perfect backdrop for a beautiful day.

Nothing to say except for the pizza. I wanted to try it for the second time. But unfortunately, I have to say that it's not up to par with the cuisine in general. Tasteless, the dough is too floury, not crispy, the mozzarella is hard, it doesn't melt in your mouth... The only negative note... otherwise, everything was excellent.

Good food and a green setting. Very basic, and the wait between dishes is long.

First time at this farmhouse for a Saturday lunch with several family members, to celebrate a grandchild's birthday. The cake was prepared by the staff or by the pastry shop commissioned by this farmhouse, I don't know. It wasn't exceptional, I'd say. It had too much cream and not enough of the requested chocolate cream filling! However, the setting is spartan and rustic, and despite its name, Girasole, there's not even a hint of this flower, nor are there any themed decorations or anything else to embellish it. The staff is kind and welcoming, and for me, a vegetarian, they created a special menu—simple but delicious! Various appetizers for everyone else and two mini-tastings of first courses for everyone. Wine and soft drinks were paid separately; the 30 or 35 euro menus were chosen, I don't remember now. There are plenty of seats, so it's suitable for large tables both inside and out. There's also entertainment for children and a few games. What I absolutely loved was the presence of pigs, goats, ponies, and cats. They're all used to people, so they let us approach them and are incredibly sweet. There are also some very old ones, so I'm happy to know no one has ever touched them to eat them, but they've been there forever! Overall, we had a great time, but I would improve the outdoor area, perhaps with plants and flowers, as well as the fenced area for the ponies and pigs, and the interior, by decorating it with a sunflower theme!
