Great wine, great food and amazing service. We were here in the off season and felt so welcome. The staff were so kind and gave us very nice wine for a very reasonable price (we were on a budget). We enjoyed it so much we came back the next night as well!

Barbara and Francesca are very nice and hospitable people. We thoroughly enjoyed the service. The wines and food are great. The place is located in the very heart of the ancient town of Shila or little Venice, in the Canaleia quarter. Thank you very much and I look forward to seeing you in Turin!

Great place, worth visiting while in Scilla. Delicious cheese and cold cuts board, very nice service and Mrs. Basia is a very warm person, I want to come back to this place
and a great place to try local wines! I highly recommend it!

Scilla is a tiny - though extremely attractive - place. I'd probably given up on finding craft beer and, perhaps, had even resigned myself to any early night (heaven forbid) when I stumbled on this place. Okay, it's a wine bar but beggars can't be choosers and they had a fridge full of tiny cans of craft all from the same brewery and all colourfully illustrated in a cohesive style. It was a duty - but a pleasant one - to work my way through them all! I think we were the last people remaining when they shut down for the day but they said we were welcome to remain (given that we were sitting outside) until we were finished. This is a benefit of drinking cans/bottles I guess but also fairly common, and deeply appreciated, in Europe.

There aren’t enough stars to review our handful of visits to Casa Vela. We will forever recall the welcome and kindness of management and staff. I also had the absolute best Bergomontte Spritz there! My husband loved their local craft beer selection. The food was DELICIOUS! An Italian dream sitting at tables on the tiny cobblestone street watching life happen in the fishing villlage. From Atlanta we will dream of the moments we spent dining and drinking at Casa Vela!

Luogo molto carino ma la cucina non è cosa per loro. Ho preso lo stocco: un piatto enorme di pesce insapore e secco, a dispetto del fatto che fosse immerso nel brodo. 16 euro buttati via.
Prezzi un po’ alti, non è un luogo economico come pare.

dovete necessariamente assaggiare tutto con un bel 10 e lode all'arancino col pesce spada. Nel mezzo della Chianalea, non potete non passarci davanti. lo staff gentilissimo e servizio veloce anche per l'asporto
