Excellent food, carefully prepared. The menu isn't overly extensive, favoring quality and beautiful presentation. We recommend it.

When a trip meets taste We went with TheFork and were amazed by the enchanting setting and unique flavors, expertly presented. Perfect combinations, blending wasn't easy, but everything turned out excellent, obviously a good value. Smoked veal with onion cream and hazelnut crunch Ribs with mustard and honey glaze Heifer pulled pork Pumpkin and chestnut tart with hot chocolate

The spelt gnocchi with sausage and porcini mushrooms are among the best first courses I've ever eaten. Definitely worth a try. Excellent restaurant, impeccable and extremely courteous service, and the location is also worth a visit, considering it's a former slaughterhouse.

09/11/2025: Charging for an arancini (that's what they call it) off the menu, perhaps so the price doesn't show, 11 euros, I think is outrageous. If they had told me, or if it was listed on the menu, I wouldn't have ordered it. It can't cost the same as a first course.
02/11/2025: Discovered by chance, partly drawn by the name, it's a restaurant where the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Plus, the wine list is very good!

11/11/2025: I visited this trattoria during the chestnut festival held in San Martino al Cimino in October. We hadn't booked, and we were lucky because, despite the restaurant being full, there were still two-person tables available. A dark-haired lady who greeted us at the entrance was very kind and helpful in seating us. The cuisine is very rustic and trattoria-style, just what we were looking for. The menu is quite comprehensive, with many dishes featuring porcini mushrooms and typical local products. We ordered the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the tagliata with potatoes and porcini mushrooms: both were very good. The restaurant is located just outside the historic walls of the town, and reservations are highly recommended.
14/10/2025: Excellent trattoria, excellent chef, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great prices. I recommend you try it. I almost forgot about the excellent and generous dishes.
