Excellent wines! Friendly and cheerful service. Our food was also very good.

Casa Trimarchi is the perfect example of authentic Sicilian cuisine, from producer to consumer, with fresh ingredients and genuine flavors that tell the tradition of the territory. Each dish is prepared with care and passion. Despite a small initial inconvenience with a bottle of wine gone bad, the staff handled the situation with extreme kindness and professionalism, making us feel truly at home. An experience that we recommend to those who want to taste the real Sicily, in a welcoming, quiet and authentic environment.

We were really excited to visit, having seen the menu earlier in the day and reading about how it was farm to table which we were looking forward to having. However, we had the sardines and cod mains and both were of average quality. There wasn't a great deal of vegetarian options (no main) if any or sides that included them. We ordered the sparkling wine, which wasn't sparkling at all due to it being the last part of the bottle and clearly opened during the day where it had gone flat - the server hadn't noticed and we weren't sure how fizzy it was supposed to be until the next table bought a bottle and could clearly see the fizz. Considering we only had two mains and two glasses of wine, it turned out to be overpriced and sadly unsatisfying. The service was good.

It is very average food, without much flavour that you are paying a lot of money for. Our sparkling wine came out flat. Very underwhelming. Good service and team

We loved sitting in a quiet side street in Ortigia and being treated to fresh, wonderful food served by lovely staff who understand the beauty of a slow meal.

Casa Trimarchi is set in a truly charming and beautiful location. However, the food is rather average and seems tailored more for tourists than for those seeking an authentic Sicilian experience. If you’re looking for genuine local cuisine, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The best homemade pasta we've ever eaten. And we've been to a lot of restaurants in Ortigia. Everything is top-notch. Go for it.
