A feast for the eyes and the palate. The location is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the dishes are spectacular, whether you're ordering a snack or lunch. You can choose a first or second course, or opt for one of the three set menus that include a first course, second course, drink, and coffee. Either way, you'll always leave satisfied!

A bar in the Slovenian part of Trieste where the locals always speak Slovenian. In Slovenian, this place is called Glinscica.

Had lunch. Gnocchi with goulash and desserts. Very good. Varied menu with a good selection of meat and fish. Friendly and fast service.

Arriving from out of the region to visit Val Rosandra, we asked a local couple for information on where to eat nearby. They immediately recommended this place, advising us to check if they had availability, as it gets very busy on weekends. We managed to find a table, and given the sunny day, eating outside (it was August 24th) was delightful. We had a first course with calamari and a great fried fish dish: the freshness of all the fish was fully evident in our mouths, and that was the most important thing for us. Perhaps the pasta sauce could have been spicier, but that's a de-gustibus. The staff was kind and attentive, and even friendly, yet (rightly) professional. The Pierçolade (or whatever you spell it) ice cream was excellent! (P.S.: by the way, if you park at the Val Rosandra Visitor Center, it's just a 3-minute walk to get there.)

The food was excellent! The service was also good. The portion sizes were very generous, and we were more than full! The seafood is highly recommended. The tiramisu was extremely good.
