Quarta volta in questo delizioso ristorante, in stagioni diverse, ma sempre piacevolmente soddisfatti. La location è un po’ fuori dalle mete tradizionali e non di facile accesso soprattutto se si va per la prima volta, ma si viene ripagati da un panorama mozzafiato e un posticino intimo e molto curato in tutti i particolari. Il menù prevede due percorsi degustazione ed un tradizionale menù alla carta, da noi scelto per questa occasione. Regna sovrana la materia prima, rigorosamente a km zero o quasi, in preparazioni meravigliosamente presentate che appagano prima la vista e poi il palato. Abbiamo degustato topinanbur, zucca, funghi, zuppa di cipolle, risotto ai funghi, pollo con millefoglie di patate, formaggi d’alpeggio ex un burro di montagna appena preparato, con pani ai cereali e focaccine deliziose. Darei più spazio ai dessert, tre in lista di cui uno scelto, buono ma migliorabile. Grande scelta di vini, che Ivan racconta con passione e preparazione. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Lovely remote location, top class restaurant

Review valid exclusively for the restaurant part. So I have no way to judge the rooms. Ambiance: Pleasant 4/5 Mixed rustic and modern place, well looked after. Even just the view of the lake would be worth the stop in this restaurant, plus, if we get a snowfall like we haven't seen for years, as happened to me, a fairytale atmosphere. Even though the internal temperature was chilly. Food: simple, but refined 4/5 A real mountain cuisine, therefore simple and local raw materials, but refined and elaborate in flavours. The first ones were particularly tasty and delicious. The onion soup is beautiful to look at. The pigeon was very good, except for the thigh part, which was a little pale in flavour. Mont-blanc revisited with meringue and persimmon coulis, space-age. Service: they ride 4/5 Affable and kind waiter/owner, not intrusive. Price: correct For what is proposed and offered, it is worth the expense.

Fine dining in an amazing location with great service and super friendly host.

Luogo strano per piazzarci un ristorante del genere. Con meteo bello la vista é strepitosa, pranzare all’ aperto é bellissimo. Menu a sorpresa, a parte ciò la carta rivela intenzioni innovative. Quella dei vini è invitante, robe e annate introvabili, i prezzi sono adeguati.
