Great food experience in a romantic surounding.

This restaurant would be in itself a good enough reason to come back to Salina. Food, service, atmosphere, it’s all perfect! The food is a selection of eolian dishes, using local ingredients and greatly executed with originality. That walnut ice cream- fig jam dessert… unforgettable.

The restaurant looks very good and inviting... the service is ok, helpful and knows the menu. In our case, it turned out that the starters were better than the main dish... I was surprised by the rubbery octopus and canned tuna in the dish🤷🏻‍♂️ I could have asked about the latter... the food was decent, but a bit too expensive.

In my opinion, the Caso lo Schiavo is almost a star restaurant, the food couldn't be much better, at prices that are really more than reasonable. The octopus and the pasti were some of the best things we ate on the Aeolian Islands. The service is also very attentive, asking if everything is OK and explaining everything perfectly when choosing dishes that are not on the menu. A true culinary delight in Salina. The Casa Lo Schiavo restaurant offers a very good basis for a perfect evening. Sicilian delicacies from land and sea. Every course is a real treat! The fish balls are particularly recommended!

I loved the conversation we had with the owner about how he, his father, and his grandmother were born upstairs in the home that his great-grandfather built (& where the restaurant is located). The food was delicious, the wine was superb, and the environment was inviting and enjoyable. I highly recommend this dining experience to anyone who visits this charming island!

Posto romantico e forse unico a Santa Marina per lo charme che la sera c’è in questo ristorante. Cibi ben preparati con i sapori locali e siciliani, servizio cortese e gentile. Il proprietario mette a proprio agio i clienti con la giusta empatia. Qualche ritardo nel ritirare i piatti da parte dei camerieri e un piatto leggermente sbreccato. Torneremo senz’altro e invitiamo chiunque vada a Salina a fare una cena in questa putia.

Probabilmente l'isola più bella delle Eolie...un'atmosfera quasi magica...un locale assolutamente perfetto, nella via principale...personale e padrone di casa gentilissimi...piatti della tradizione pur presentati con assoluta modernità e innovazione, da provare, in particolare, il totano ripieno e il "re di spada"senza perdere la caponata e l'insalata eoliana...il tutto accompagnato da ottimi vini locali...
