Let me be clear: this is not a hotel, nor a guesthouse, and I don't think it's intended to be. I prefer to call it an ethical hotel in the heart of lower Bergamo, just steps from the train station, housed in a historic religious building that retains some of the typical features of a place of worship, but also has an unexpected secular soul. Many guests choose it for its convenient shopping options, its proximity to a hospital, and the possibility of taking advantage of a self-service restaurant open three times a day, catering to a diverse mix of experiences, cultures, and ages. The rooms are simple but well-appointed, recently renovated, with en-suite bathrooms, shared laundry facilities, and views of the stunning cloister. Kudos to the self-service kitchen team, who, with just a few healthy ingredients, prepare balanced, hearty meals suitable for everyone—adults, children, and the very young. And thanks to the kitchen staff, who are like mothers, providing ladles full for the very young and just the right amount for those with weight issues and other issues. Eating in this large, bright canteen is an experience within an experience. Humanity is beautiful and all the same when faced with a good plate of spaghetti!

An excellent facility for those with relatives hospitalized at Humanitas Gavazzeni (with a special agreement), but also for students, workers, or groups. Clean, simply furnished rooms are regularly and thoroughly cleaned. Amenities include a laundry room, relaxation room, garden, vending machines, a simple breakfast bar, and, most importantly, a cafeteria. The cafeteria is also popular with outsiders; the menu is varied and very reasonably priced. Special thanks to Rudy, Arianna, and Mrs. Terry at the cafeteria for their kindness, friendliness, and helpfulness.

This property deserves 5 stars for its kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness. It offers a cafeteria for lunch and dinner for €8 (all very good!). I stayed here for 8 nights, from July 1st to 9th, eating in the cafeteria and having breakfast at the bar. Rudy, in particular, welcomed the group of teachers in training and visiting teachers in Bergamo with great warmth and professionalism. Some complained about the heat, but they're addressing that by installing air conditioning. My room was cleaned every morning, with clean, crisp towels. Kudos to the cleaning ladies! The location is excellent, behind the station and just a few meters from lower Bergamo. There are courtyards and gardens all around; I felt safe and at home. Thank you! Marina B.

The air conditioning system needs to be improved

Good morning I was at the young man's house last week for a hospital stay at Humanitas I felt very good both in terms of services and human help. I needed an extra day and I had no problems. Then the canteen service was very attractive there were various courses and the staff was very kind and welcomed me very well and was close to me thanks for everything

Recommended by the Humanitas Gavazzeni clinic. I stayed here for 6 nights; 2 nights for two people €80 per night, the other nights for one person in the same room €65 per night. It has a canteen with hours 12.15 14 - 19.30 20.30 which allow you to eat your meal and go to the clinic at the times of the pass. Price €8 full lunch or dinner; first course, second course, side dish, fruit, bread and water... obviously it is not gourmet cuisine but it is well done. For the times of the pass in the clinic I recommend eating first at midday and after in the evening. Breakfast bar from 6.30 to 9.30, cappuccino and brioche €2.60. The clinic can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. Large parking lot, large green spaces equipped with benches. WiFi and TV... what more could you want!

An old monastery that is used as a conference hotel. Simple rooms, very noisy without air conditioning but at least with WiFi.
