An unpretentious place, but really warm and welcoming. It was a pleasant surprise that I will definitely repeat. The tartare is simply delicious, absolutely to be tasted. The cutting board, rich and varied, offers a selection of excellent Tuscan products that conquer the palate. I highly recommend trying it!

03/11/2025: The pizza was really good and the service was friendly. The only downside was the loud music, which forced us to leave the restaurant immediately after finishing our meal.

Pizzeria Centrale

06/11/2025: I've eaten at this pizzeria, or maybe not... actually, I went specifically to try their pizzas, which everyone had been talking about for a while. This historic establishment, run by Andrea Bongi, celebrates its seventieth anniversary this year and a few days ago earned two stars in the Gambero Rosso Pizzeria d'Italia 2026 guide. It also received a mention among the excellent pizzerias in the 50 Top Pizza Italia 2025 guide. I chose a Casentinese with fiordilatte from Campania, porcini mushrooms, and Grigio del Casentino prosciutto. My husband chose a Donato with bardiccio, caramelized onion, and Tuscan pecorino. Although white pizzas aren't my favorite, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The dough was like a cloud, super light and easy to digest, and the ingredients were excellent. I can't wait to go back, because if the white pizza had this effect on me, who knows how much I'll love the red ones! Well done, really.
