A great location in the historic center with delicious food, an excellent wine selection, and good service—all at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit! However, reservations should be made 2 to 3 days in advance.

The dishes prepared by Chef Domenico Paone are always a guarantee, everything is delicious. The staff is attentive and professional. A culinary experience I recommend to everyone.

Restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a beautiful garden in an interior courtyard. Very responsive staff and excellent food. We will definitely return. The tagliatelle al tartufo is succulent.

A very, very good restaurant! We had the eggplant gratin with mozzarella for €14 as a starter, a real treat in good proportions. For the main course, the ravioli del pin with cheese sauce was delicious, and also in good proportions. The fish was a little dry, but still good. They also serve small appetizers as a starter, which are very good. The decor is very warm, the service is impeccable, and the waiters are very welcoming. I recommend it. Accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Sono stata in questo locale per lavoro. Ristorante enoteca molto elegante e curato. Servizio eccellente: i ragazzi sono super disponibili e pronti ad ogni esigenza, anche in inglese. Chef Domenico è davvero gentile ed attento alle esigenze di ognuno. Menù ampio, portate abbondanti e buonissime, accompagnate da ottimi vini, ma volendo anche Spritz o amari di pregio. Possibilità di varianti per intolleranze/allergie. Abbiamo mangiato veramente benissimo.

Trattoria-Pizzeria Carpe Diem

02/08/2025: We ate in the excellent outdoor space, which was quiet as it was set back from the main road. We've eaten pizza here several times before; it was absolutely digestible and light, with good quality ingredients. We also saw some tempting mussels and fish platters pass by. Prices were reasonable, definitely not expensive.
15/07/2025: We visited a few days ago and instantly fell in love with the pizza. Today, my husband and I came back to pick up two pizzas for takeaway, and the staff was just as warm and welcoming. On our first visit, we tried the tiramisu, honestly the best we’ve ever had, and this time, they surprised us with a small gift of tiramisu to take home. It truly made our day! We don’t speak much Italian, but we were so grateful for the kindness. The pizza is fantastic, and the tiramisu is on another level. Sadly, we’re leaving tomorrow, but we’ll definitely be back on our next trip. Thank you for everything!

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our waitress Taran was absolutely fantastic – friendly, attentive, and fluent in English, which made communication effortless. Her recommendations were spot-on and added so much to our experience! 🍽️ Food Highlights We started with crispy calamari, perfectly fried and served with a tangy sweet chili sauce and lemon – light, golden, and delicious. The grilled beef tagliata was tender, juicy, and served with fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes, plus a rich side sauce that complemented the dish beautifully. 🍰 Desserts to Remember Dessert was the star of the night! The warm cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle, topped with chocolate shavings, was indulgent and comforting. And the tiramisu – wow! Creamy, rich, and beautifully presented with a dusted cocoa fork design on top. Each bite was heavenly. 🍷 The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with a retro touch thanks to the floral plates and green-checkered tablecloths. It felt like dining at a family home with gourmet-level food. Thank you to the Urbani team and especially to Taran, whose kindness and expertise truly made the night special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, warm service, and an authentic Italian experience. We’ll definitely be back!
17/07/2025: I went to this restaurant for my birthday. A magical place and excellent food. The service was truly impeccable, everyone was friendly, and they even offered us pizza several times to try. At the end, they even offered us cantucci. I practically left feeling stuffed! We hadn't mentioned it was my birthday, but as soon as they found out, they surprised me and brought me a tiramisu with a candle. A truly sweet gesture that will remain in my heart. P.S.
