Staying at Casa 28 was a true moment of relaxation and emotion. Nunzia, the owner of the house, paid attention and care to every detail. The breakfast, excellent and plentiful, with local products, never the same and banal, the soft music in the alley, the tables under the vines, were the perfect setting for unique hospitality. My review relates only to the catering offered by Casa28; I confirm that it is always a great pleasure to return to visit the dishes of this restaurant with strong takes on typical dishes from our town, Canosa, with some reinterpretations, in a modern key, of traditional dishes. I recommend the "Journey into nostalgia" as an appetizer, a trio of aperitifs that combine typical products and modern cuisine; as a highly recommended first course, the "Ragú della Domenica", homemade ears with durum wheat flour, an exceptional dish in which we find another very typical element of traditional Canosi cuisine, the "brasciol", a roll of very tender horse meat with a extraordinary, almost as good as what my grandmother cooked for me ( :-) ); but I also tasted the strascinati made with burnt wheat, another pasta and flour typical of the area, with cherry tomatoes, ruga (wild rocket) and with the possibility of adding some excellent "hard" grated sheep's ricotta. There wasn't room for seconds, so we plan to return soon. I delighted in the remaining space in my stomach with an excellent kibble for dessert. Truly excellent and almost familiar service and welcome. If you come to visit our country, with its wealth of archaeological sites, a dive into our culinary specialties offered by Casa28 is recommended.

What can I say. Yet another super positive experience at Casa 28. We were on August 15th enjoying local dishes of the highest level. Nothing to complain about starting from the appetizers (the battered cod and the aubergine parmigiana were the best) and ending with the crunchy ice cream placed on a delicious fruit salad, passing through the mixed grilled meat. Service hyper attentive to the needs of diners. Excellent quality and price ratio. Definitely worth trying again.
