We stopped in for lunch because we were passing through. The place is beautiful and very quiet. The menu has some good options.
The pasta with tomato sauce for the kids was exceptional.
The first course with sausage, mushrooms, and pumpkin was good, but lacked the sweetness of the pumpkin and was too salty.
The horse fillet was good but overcooked for my taste, and the side potatoes were also too salty.
The wine selection by the glass was good, but a bit pricey.
Excellent service.
All in all, I would gladly return to try the tasting menu.

A wonderful spot for local food. Just outside the town center. A delicious multi-course menu with their own local wine, Nero di Troja. A nice change from the Primitivo. Highly recommended. Our first introduction to Puglian cuisine, and it was a real hit.

A pleasantly surprising experience! We stopped here for lunch on our way back from a weekend getaway and were intrigued by the reviews. I must say, the restaurant exceeded every expectation: a welcoming, meticulously decorated space, exquisite, knowledgeable, and courteous staff, and the owner was truly a kind person. In short, everything was perfect, including the food: simple, authentic flavors showcase traditional local ingredients. The burnt wheat focaccia was a true delight. I definitely recommend stopping at this restaurant for a hearty, satisfying lunch.

We stayed at Casa 28 with my husband and our daughters and the experience was extraordinary. The hospitality is like being welcomed into a true Apulian home: the ancient stones, soft lighting, and attention to detail create an enchanting atmosphere. We savored traditional dishes like orecchiette and horse meat strips, and each course reflected a piece of the region. Nunzia, the owner, was kind and attentive without ever being intrusive. It was our first meal in Puglia and we couldn't have chosen better.
