A fairly well-known neighborhood pizzeria. The pizza is good, though not exceptional. If you like thin crust pizza, it's still a good value. When the place is very busy, I recommend eating in the entrance area because the large room, when crowded, can be noisy and difficult to talk to.

We've known it for over 20 years. Super friendly staff. Delicious, easy-to-digest pizza. Not to mention the fried foods...the best. Highly recommended.

Average pizza, not exceptional calzone. Historic restaurant with good fried food. The wait staff was friendly but lacked flexibility to accommodate customers. We had asked for a larger or smaller table in the center of the room, and despite being offered other options, all the tables were for two and close to other occupied tables. I should point out that there were only four tables in the entire room, and it was already 9:00 PM on January 1, 2026, so the possibility of the place filling up was remote; in fact, no one else arrived until the end of the dinner. Sometimes it takes very little to accommodate and satisfy customers; it's not just the food.

Excellent pizzeria for quality and friendly staff. Among the appetizers, the unique and must-try are the fried mixed vegetables and the cod fillets, fried to perfection. The pizzas are very good and varied. The homemade desserts are also delicious.

29/07/2025: Wonderful visit to Ristorante Cecilia Metella! Family friendly, family run, and homemade family quality. We highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant if you’re in the area, or walk across from the Catacombs di San Sebastien. Cross the road, head to right and up the driveway. The staff were super friendly and fun. I felt like my grandpa was serving us, with his grandpa humour. Couldn’t stop laughing at his grandpa jokes. The food was amazing. I feel like this was my most authentic Italian pasta and cuisine during our stay at Rome. We ate outside on the their terrace. There were lots of tables and couod get quite busy. However, our visit was just right in terms of noise from other tables. No need to shout, but still enjoyed the energy of the restaurant with families and friends enjoying lunch out on a Sunday.
23/07/2025: Amazing lunch experience under the vines. Meals and wine were superb, service was first class and atmosphere was next level fabulous. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

06/03/2026: Room is big and clean. Strong WI-FI and good shower. Boiler , mini fridge and toiletries are available in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly and attentive staff. The down side is the location. No supermarket, pharmacy nearby the hotel. Shuttle bus to the city is provided with a fee. The Muratella train station is 10 mins by foot. To reach the city takes approximately 50 mins.
28/02/2026: A good stay, comfortable beds. The building and installation in general kind of old. My room connected to next one and I could literally hear the other person breathing. Thin walls of 1960. Big pool. Friendly staff.
