Years after my first review and after THREE changes between brands and management (from Carrefour to Carrefour Sud Italia di Apulia Distribuzione, from Carrefour Sud Italia di Apulia Distribuzione to Rossotono, from Rossotono to Dodecà) I have to completely review the review I left years ago previously, following the abandonment of the parent company Carrefour and which had highlighted numerous problems.
I will therefore talk about the new Dodecà management (Multicedi group, the same as Decò).
First of all, there are many positive aspects with respect to the Rossotono management: the sushi department is back, the supermarket is much cleaner, the bakery and fishmonger departments are fantastic, the fresh produce and ice cream department is better than before, great choice of cheeses (less on mozzarella).

The ready-made sauces department still needs to be DEFINITELY improved (it is better than the rossotono management but still very far from the former pre-pandemic Carrefour management and supermarkets such as the Coop in via S.Giacomo dei Capri; other star sauces, many Barilla sauces and other brands such as De Cecco and Tigullio, and others perhaps even artisan ones such as Cascina San Cassiano and Grangusto are already present).
The choice in the gastronomy department must STILL be increased.
Some products have incomprehensible arrangements on the shelves (Grisbì, one type for each horizontal row one above the other when they could have placed them all side by side in the same row), still others see TOO much predominance of branded products (Decò) as in the case of detergents and of toilet paper.
VERY GOOD that they brought back sushi, the choice of boxes should be increased and poké and other ethnic food such as ravioli or noodles added.
Grated cheese in a tray almost never arrived (yes, I know that many prefer to grate it themselves, but I find the already grated one much more convenient).
Improvements after the first review: they added the Kinder Cards, the 80g Citterio Sofficette, the Santal Strawberry and Banana juices (hidden seeds but now they are there), they changed the containers for cut fresh fruit (there are no longer the round ones that they opened during transport, good thing).
In general the prices are better than the previous management (obviously I am speaking in general, there may be different differences on individual products).
Ultimately, speaking of the new Dodecà management, I am moving the rating from 2 to 4 stars. The potential for 5 stars is there, but they must solve the problems I have listed, in particular significantly increase the ready-made sauces department (I repeat, in pre-pandemic times it occupied the entire half of the aisle).
It would also be nice if they also added an AMAZON LOCKER (already present in the Dodecà store in via Arenaccia) and in general allowed the collection of shopping and delivery in a slightly larger and particularly disadvantaged area (such as in the Petraio area, including the entire area upstream from Corso Vittorio Emanuele, which in the past was served by the much smaller shop in Via Lo Monaco, which has not yet been activated).
Negative note: on the official Dodecà APP for Android there is a "Dodecà PASS" card which the app invites you to scan at the cash register. The checkouts at this supermarket absolutely DO NOT recognize it and the cashiers know nothing about it (I had to insist on having it scanned, but it wasn't recognized anyway).

They're open early and until late, and they have a wide variety of products, from everyday foods to bulk souvenirs. The side dishes are also cheap and delicious. I'm glad I was able to walk to this precious shop that was open on Sundays as well.
