It was a truly pleasant break. I chose a 50cl Warsteiner on tap, fresh and perfectly poured, while my friend opted for a Bruno Ribadi Rossa dell'Etna, a Sicilian craft beer worth trying. To accompany the beers, they served a small aperitif with olives, cucunci mushrooms, and marinated garlic: a simple but very welcome touch. The place is in a pleasant location, and the outdoor tables allow you to relax and enjoy the evening in peace. It's the kind of place where you stop for a drink and end up willingly staying a few minutes longer. The service was friendly and always smiling, without being intrusive. I appreciated the attention to detail and the informal yet welcoming atmosphere. If you're in Ustica and are looking for a place to drink a good beer with friends, chat, and enjoy a simple yet well-made aperitif, this place is definitely a recommended stop. We will gladly return.

A nice place to relax in the shade and grab a cold snack. The sandwiches were large and, I think, tasted okay. The pleasant atmosphere makes it a pleasant place to spend a break. Despite the announcement of a temporary closure, the place was open. The service was friendly and attentive. Everything went smoothly.

We chose Carpe Diem for a quick lunch during a day in Ustica, and it turned out to be one of those simple moments that stay with us longer than expected. The place is right in the center of town, in a truly pleasant location, with a terrace overlooking the sea and outdoor tables nestled in the shade of the trees. We had a burger and a salad: nothing elaborate, but it was exactly what we were looking for at the time. Simple, tasty, and uncomplicated dishes. The best part, however, was the atmosphere: eating slowly under the trees, with the breeze coming from the sea and the tranquil pace of the island around, transformed a quick lunch into a truly pleasant break. It's one of those places that doesn't try to impress with special effects, but works because it makes you feel good. Perfect if you want to stop without leaving the center of Ustica, sit in the shade, and enjoy a quiet hour with a beautiful view. I would gladly return, perhaps next time to stop for aperitivo time.

A lovely, shady spot for a lunch break with a good selection of fresh dishes and a view on the harbor. Friendly service without any sign of rush. In contrary to what Google says, it was open. But based on my experience on Ustica, it can also be the other way around :-)
