What can I say about this restaurant overlooking Lake Bolsena? The view alone is worth a stop at Carpe Diem. Pasquale, the manager, is truly a very special person and makes you feel right at home. I found in this restaurant the attention to detail, the quality of the product, and a welcoming atmosphere that create a perfect balance. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant serving Neapolitan and Italian cuisine, along with exquisite pizzas. The view from the tables is spectacular, overlooking Lake Bolsena and the islands. The staff is attentive, and the owner is extremely kind and attentive to every detail. You'll be treated to a warm welcome.

Discovered by chance, customers for years, never disappointed. Contained menu but excellent quality, courtesy, professionalism, and a lake view that makes you forget your troubles. We return as often as we can.

We went there with family who live in the area. The atmosphere is modest but clean and well-kept. It's a shame we didn't go at sunset because the view is supposedly spectacular and very romantic. The food was excellent. Pizza deserved top marks. For our appetizer, in addition to the classic cold cuts, we ordered the largest buffalo mozzarella I've ever seen, and the best I've ever eaten. At the end of the meal, the owner personally offered us the classic limoncello and a melon cream, which I really enjoyed—and, coming from a teetotaler like me, it must be truly delicious. We'll be back, both for the guaranteed excellent food and because I want to see that view at sunset. See you next time.

Beautiful place! We went a little before dinner (around 6:30 PM) for an aperitivo and to enjoy the beautiful sunset with a spritz in hand! Everything was excellent, from the plentiful and tasty food to the location and the service! The waiter, with excellent English skills, met our every request and was always kind! The owner was truly chatty, friendly, and fun. I recommend drinking some melon, it was amazing!

For a surprise birthday. Excellent fried appetizer. Thin crust pizza, well-cooked, and tasty. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. I'll definitely be back next time I'm near Montefiascone.
