Since I was in Torre Lapillo for a long weekend, I thought, "Let's try something truly interesting," and luckily I stumbled upon Carnivori! A truly welcoming place, with top-notch staff and an honorable mention for the owner, who is always attentive to his customers. The portions are generous, and the quality is evident right from the appetizers. We ordered caciocavallo on a bed of capocollo, which promised a great evening—and indeed it was. This was followed by chicken strips with vegetables and a selection of sausages with potatoes. Everything was excellent, and the prices were commensurate with the quality. An experience worth repeating, and if you're in Lecce, it's worth a visit.

As a Tuscan, and therefore someone who truly knows about meat, I can say that this restaurant was a wonderful discovery.
A huge compliment also goes to the owner, because the passion he puts into his work is clearly evident. It's rare these days to find people who pay so much attention to every detail, and this is reflected both in the atmosphere of the restaurant and in the quality of the dishes offered.

The meat quality is excellent, the selection is extensive, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We tried their tartare and their unique meat sushi, both excellent. The sliced steak was also delicious, served on a grill for customizing the cooking. A pleasant discovery, we'll be back soon!
