Carminio In Milano

Unexpectedly came across this restaurant after having no luck at other nearby places for dinner on a Friday night sans reservation. We got so lucky to dine here and enjoy SUCH a fantastic meal! The food was delicious, the presentation and cutlery was equally as beautiful, and our server made excellent recommendations to us, including wine. I look forward to returning in the future!

Very good restaurant and spectacular pasta. But it's not cheap.

The food tastes OK, but the price/performance ratio is not high. The decoration is unique but not luxurious, and the same goes for the food. The presentation is more important than the taste, so it is not suitable for tourists to try new things. But if you want a romantic atmosphere, you can consider it.

Quiet place, delicious food, and good service. Highly recommended if you're visiting Milan.

A pleasantly understated place that serves fine dishes. Couldn't it be that simpler? Yet, I can assure you most of the restaurants in Brera (many of them with enthusiastic reviews) can't hold a candle to Il Carminio. If you value your palate, give it a try. Giving five stars also because it's one of those few restaurants where vegetarian dishes and wine by the glass are not second-class citizens!

The food itself was okay, but the overall experience left us disappointed. My tea cup seemed to have tea residue, which made me question how clean it was. The fork and knife were placed directly on the table (not on a napkin), and the table itself wasn’t very clean either. On top of that, we were charged €10 for service, while the menu mentioned €5 (without clarifying that it’s per person). For comparison, yesterday at another restaurant the service fee was €4 (in total for 2 people), and they even offered complimentary drinks and snacks, which made the experience much more pleasant. Overall, I don’t feel the quality of food and service justified the extra charge.

Location molto curata in Brera … Il Personale è molto attento e accogliente. Il menù ben bilanciato con piatti di pesce e di carne. Imperdibili i loro mondeghili e la cacio e pepe!! Assolutamente super … frutto della ricerca di materie prime ottime!! Consigliatissimo se cercate un ristorante in zona Brera e se volete trascorrere una serata di chiacchiere ( finalmente un posto dove poter parlare senza urlare) e mangiare davvero bene!!!

Un poco de fondo es que esta es nuestra primera vez en Milano, y con mi novia solo éramos "inteligentes YouTube". Hemos buscado a propósito un restaurante en el área de Brera, y elegimos esto al azar. Si quieres escuchar la versión TLDR y seguir adelante, aquí está: Santo pato, ¿por qué este restaurante no es mundialmente conocido? ¡Tú, tu compañero, todos tienen que probar esto! " Descripción más larga: La comida es increíble! Y no en un sentido americano, donde usan la palabra AMAZING en su vida diaria como la gente que usa palabras malditas en mi idioma nativo, es realmente bueno. Puedo resumir la experiencia en las palabras de nuestro camarero - Bienvenido a Italia. Fue una experiencia, y después de comer nos sentamos allí en silencio y todavía no creíamos lo que acaba de pasar, fue así de bueno. Calificar los platos principales no tiene sentido porque rebasa todas las escalas conocidas por la humanidad. El Tiramisu era 7. 5 / 10 y el wein era alrededor de 2 - 2. 5 x sobreprecio, pero sigue siendo uno bueno y de calidad adecuada para todo el asunto. Sólo vaya. Ve allí si puedes y pruébalo, realmente dudo que tengas una mala experiencia. Por supuesto que casi me olvido, el lugar se ve bien también. Es solo un pequeño restaurante con un menú limitado lo que cabe en un papel A 4, pero es suficiente, no necesita más.
