Everything was delicious, carefully prepared and tasty! The risotto, pappardelle, and tagliata were excellent! Friendly service, elegant and relaxed atmosphere. We went with friends and had a lovely evening. One downside: the tiramisu, with good cream but a dry biscuit...

We were settled in. The food was light and modern—good—like the service.
We were there tonight—great, light, modern, and really good cuisine! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the wine selection and service were top-notch.

Highly recommended. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the wine excellent. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed. I went for a business dinner with colleagues and an American guest, and everyone loved it.

Unexpectedly came across this restaurant after having no luck at other nearby places for dinner on a Friday night sans reservation. We got so lucky to dine here and enjoy SUCH a fantastic meal! The food was delicious, the presentation and cutlery was equally as beautiful, and our server made excellent recommendations to us, including wine. I look forward to returning in the future!

The food tastes OK, but the price/performance ratio is not high. The decoration is unique but not luxurious, and the same goes for the food. The presentation is more important than the taste, so it is not suitable for tourists to try new things. But if you want a romantic atmosphere, you can consider it.

A pleasantly understated place that serves fine dishes. Couldn't it be that simpler? Yet, I can assure you most of the restaurants in Brera (many of them with enthusiastic reviews) can't hold a candle to Il Carminio.
If you value your palate, give it a try.
Giving five stars also because it's one of those few restaurants where vegetarian dishes and wine by the glass are not second-class citizens!
