Had a delicious Italian dinner at this cute restaurant in Brera. The service was fantastic and we loved the food. My favorite were the appetizers and of course the tiramisu. Definitely recommend!

A beautiful restaurant away from the busy streets yet near some very nice high end shopping. The menu is inviting in every way: pasta dishes, fish, meatballs you name it. If you were looking for a high end traditional Italian cuisine with a little twist this is the place to go. I found the price relatively affordable for the quality of the dishes too :) Personal crush on the Benito flake pasta dish 🫠👌❤️

Popped in for lunch. You could very easily walk past it if you are not looking out for it. Understated atmosphere, with a calm no fuss vibe. It was nice and cool on a hot Milanese day. We shared the meatball entree and both thought they were the best we had in a while. Signora had cacio Pepe with prawns and pistachio, while I had the roast chicken and roast potato - both excellent. Simple food, good ingredients, prepared with care. The sort of place that, if you lived here, would be on your favourite list.

Good food, friendly service and nice atmosphere in Il Carminio. We ordered starters - duck breast and salad, and main - tagliatelle beef and slow cooked chicken, which were all tasty. It's probably the best meal we have had in this Italy trip. We quite enjoyed the soft music and quiet atmosphere. No push from the restaurant boss like other restaurants in tourist areas, but just kind greetings. Highly recommend it.

We came here two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. We've returned now and enjoyed it even more. This is the way to go: well-planned and prepared dishes and excellent service. Keep it up and you'll set a benchmark in Milan.

A wonderful, stylish restaurant with excellent, sophisticated cuisine. We had three courses and everything was delicious. The portions were a bit small, but that's usually a sign of good food. The service was good and friendly, but not particularly warm. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant!

Very nice, modern restaurant. Attentive service! They even gave us a bag holder without asking. We had pasta, which was delicious!

Location molto curata in Brera … Il Personale è molto attento e accogliente. Il menù ben bilanciato con piatti di pesce e di carne. Imperdibili i loro mondeghili e la cacio e pepe!! Assolutamente super … frutto della ricerca di materie prime ottime!! Consigliatissimo se cercate un ristorante in zona Brera e se volete trascorrere una serata di chiacchiere ( finalmente un posto dove poter parlare senza urlare) e mangiare davvero bene!!!

Non si deve mai giudicare un locale durante il Salone del Mobile (o Milano Design Week se preferite), ma se un ristorante tiene botta durante quella settimana le premesse sono sicuramente buone per tornare a provarlo un'altra volta. E' sicuramente il caso de "Il Carminio". ll locale è molto accogliente, stile minimal ma molto curato, il personale è assolutamente gentile e disponibile. Antipasti molto buoni e vari, primi e secondi piatti interessanti. Lista dei vini di qualità m piuttosto cara, non trovare nulla sotto i 40€ a bottiglia mette un po' in difficoltà. Prezzi alti, qualità non male, da riprovare dopo la fine del MDW, in ogni caso il ristorante merita una menzione d'onore perchè sappiamo tutti che durante il salone del mobile la qualità scende tanto a favore della quantità...
