At Carmen Bay, I'd had a lunchtime snack of fried seafood and a glass of white wine after swimming. I decided to come in the evening for dinner by the sea. The setting is more atmospheric during the day, although at night it's lovely to hear the sound of the sea while dining. The seafood is good; I had the marinated anchovies and spaghetti with clams, paired with a nice white wine. The fried foods are generally good, although sometimes you can tell the oil could use a change. The service is friendly but a bit rushed. It's worth it for the setting and the sea view, which is also reflected in the bill: €20 for a plate of spaghetti with clams.

The place is lovely, and the surrounding sea is truly beautiful. It's worth returning for the beach. The welcome was minimal, nothing particularly warm, but it was average.
We had an average cappuccino (€2) and a breaded cutlet sandwich (€7). Considering that the cutlet was pre-cooked, supermarket-quality, and not freshly prepared, the price seems decidedly excessive, even for August.
It's therefore best to bring your own food, or at most, get a coffee—perhaps—for €2.50. Overall, the place is worth it for its natural beauty, but the facilities have a lot of room for improvement and give the impression of being exploited for seasonal prices.

Beautiful sea, clean beach, but the loungers are on a slope.
A beach umbrella and three loungers cost €75, plus €10 for parking inside the beach. I'd say it's a bit pricey.

The sea was gorgeous. The food was a bit dry...like the pizza slices. Also, selling a portion of pasta, rice, or farro salad for €15 seems a bit excessive. It's true that we're on the beach and it's August, but we don't have to take advantage of it. The girl also kept forgetting our orders and asking us to confirm. I'd go back to that beach, but maybe I'd bring my own food.
