The food was great and the service very friendly. The menu on the table differed from the large sign outside. The food took a little longer than expected, but otherwise everything was fine.

It felt a bit like a tourist trap. We had to ask for the pizza menu, no sign of the cost of beer on the menu and a glass turned out to be 7 Euros which is more than we've paid in Sicily. The pizza bases were hard. The bread was good but the cover charge was 3 Euros each, again more than we've paid in Sicily.

I joined the pasta and tiramisu workshop at Carlo V and had such a great time. Chef Simone made it a real party — cheerful, full of energy, and fun from start to finish. Making fresh pasta and tiramisu was easy and enjoyable with his guidance. The restaurant owner and staff were very kind and welcoming, and the meal afterwards was delicious. A wonderful experience and a lovely way to spend the day!

The sea bream was subtle and fresh, dishes beautifully presented, lovely wine both red and white, staff friendly and attentive. A great experience, in a lovely Palermo piazza.

It was another gorgeous day in Palermo so we had a long leisurely lunch outdoors at Carlo V in the Piazza Bologni, off Via Vittoria Emanuele.
Everything was had was very good: bruschette, vegetable soup, caponata, Caesar salad, lasagna, pasta alla norma, carbonara and grilled fish. Service was outstanding!!!

Vino caldo, hanno sbagliato a servire e fanno pagare 6 euro per un bicchiere di vino imbevibile che non cercano di risolvere o offrire alternative. L"area ristorante è eccezionale ma il servizio sfortunato.

Me encanta este restaurante. El personal es agradable y acogedor. Los disfruté tanto, que tuve cuatro deliciosas comidas y una clase de cocina excepcionalmente buena y DIVERTIDA! Comí afuera, pero el ambiente dentro es encantador... ¡de primera clase! Muy razonable precio y delicioso. ¡Regresaría!

Me he unido a una clase de cocina con la chef Simone. Al llegar allí, me dieron la bienvenida con una copa de Prosecco. Luego comenzamos a preparar nuestra comida - Tiramisu y pasta (Tagliatelle y raviolis). Tuvimos nuestra comida, todo salió muy sabroso, con una copa de vino encantador. Todo el mundo era atento y acogedor. ¡Fue una noche para recordar!
