I have been here for a cooking class here and it has been amazing. So fun and very easy instructions to follow✨ loved how chef and su chef carried out the whole session. Delicious food in the end!

The food was very good, but the service, although very friendly, was very slow. We ordered a dish to share that took almost 15 minutes and then half an hour for the main course.

Able to reserve on TheFork but actually not open —————— Update for the response received from the owner: Thank you for your reply. I would like to clarify a few factual points. My reservation was cancelled one minute before the scheduled dining time, which, from a customer’s perspective, cannot reasonably be considered advance notice. I do not have an issue with the restaurant being closed on Christmas Day. The issue is that reservations were still open on the booking platform despite the closure having already been decided. This understandably creates confusion and inconvenience for customers. Out of respect for the holiday period, I am willing to revise my review from one star to three stars. However, I believe it is equally important that reservation information is accurate and that public responses reflect the actual timeline of events.

We did a pasta - tiramasu making night with flowing wine. We had an absolute ball and the food was amazing. The interaction from our number 1 chef was great. Great laughs. We would highly recommend it.

I just got back from Palermo, where I spent five days, three of which I ate at Carlo V. The food was great, the place was lovely, the service was excellent, Pietro the manager is fantastic, and Simone's dishes were superb. Thanks for everything.

Carlo V is just a few steps from the Cathedral and the Quattro Canti but still manages to be an oasis of calm. Staff, especially Pietro, are excellent and give very good suggestions. Food and atmosphere are fabulous.
