Enchanting place that smells of a truly splendid restored past. Martino the manager is very kind and very helpful! Everything you need even for a 1 year old. Truly a great stay we will definitely be back!

An old building with a lot of charm, beautifully renovated rooms, very friendly hosts (Martino speaks German quite well), sociable dinner with the other guests, breakfast is also good. In short: everything was fine, we were happy to stay there for the night.

I went to the inn for my last dinner after walking along Via Spluga An unexpected and beautiful place Excellent dinner! I regretted not having stayed there!

I stopped for lunch and was able to choose a first course from two choices and the same for the second course. I therefore expected to pay like a business lunch (13/18 euros) and instead I paid 36 euros more or less like eating à la carte. For this reason I cannot give a positive opinion

3 of us had lunch, me, wife and 10 month old baby. They were very kind to make some tomato tagliatelle for him too (very good). Our first courses were delicious, the owners were very kind, so much so that they took us on a tour of the hotel rooms, to proudly show them to us. Truly a lovely place!

Very friendly! Food very good. The craftsmen also have lunch here. That says it all. Cuisine is local, that's how it should be. Thank you very much for the service

Il Piccolo Chalet

06/01/2025: As soon as you arrive at the Piccolo Chalet you encounter a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, very professional and friendly, immediately make you feel at ease. The menu offers a wide choice of exceptional typical dishes. We tasted several dishes including wild meat and more. Different types of wines are also offered, including a vast choice of Valtellina red wines. Excellent quality/price. Super recommended and added to the list of our top restaurants. Very small space so reservations required. PS. The shank really excellent.
02/01/2025: Very typical and intimate place, maximum 30 seats. We ate mixed cold cuts and onion soup, which were of a decent standard. What really made the difference was the shank, one of the best I've ever eaten. The desserts are also good and beautiful to look at. Excellent restaurant
