Cardellino In Bassano del grappa

We had a very good and plentiful lunch, with a first course and a side dish. The atmosphere was authentic and the kindness of the staff made everything even more enjoyable. Thanks to the kind waiters.

We stopped for lunch today while on vacation for a few days. A local recommended this place, and we were so pleased! Everything was delicious! The radicchio risotto was spectacular! Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere! Highly recommended!

A traditional Venetian trattoria. The restaurant is showing signs of age, but the traditional Venetian cuisine is excellent and the service is friendly. The bigoli with duck sauce and the Venetian-style liver, served upon request with mashed potatoes, are very good. In keeping with tradition, the Vicenza-style cod is served in a crock with a soft and delicate polenta. We weren't able to try the Venetian-style cuttlefish with peas because the restaurant was reopening after a period of closure and they weren't available. For dessert, the lemon cream with cat's tongues was delicious, and the cream caramel, made with a smooth and not cloying caramel, was just right. In short, a traditional trattoria that doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend the experience.

I'm more than satisfied with my experience, especially considering the total cost of the various dishes I was fortunate enough to try (and try again), as I'd been trying to return with my girlfriend for a while, but the restaurant was always fully booked. What can I say? I was truly fortunate to eat here, even if "eating" is a mistake; it's more correct to "taste" and "enjoy," because these dishes, while still very traditional, are elevated to the highest degree in terms of flavor and richness of aroma. I'm not the first to say it, and I certainly won't be the last, but I highly recommend Cardellino. It's definitely one of the best in the city (and beyond). The food is always very good and of high quality. The service was a bit cold and inattentive... but the quality of the food makes up for it.

Historic restaurant, right in the city center, convenient for a stroll across the famous bridge or the squares. Traditional Venetian and other dishes. Fast and friendly service; reservations recommended.

A welcoming and well-decorated restaurant. It offers excellent traditional local cuisine with a well-stocked and varied menu. We ate very well, highly recommended, and it's worth returning. Although we visited on a weekday for lunch, reservations are recommended.
