Beautiful experience! Four of us showed up to have a snack / aperitif and we were welcomed and served with professionalism and courtesy in a truly welcoming place. The waitresses were very kind and helpful (in particular, we were served by Carol and Alessandra). Everything was excellent, from the drinks to the platter of cold cuts and cheeses. We will undoubtedly return for lunch or dinner, from the menu the dishes look delicious. Thanks again!

We ate on January 1st in this very welcoming and warm place, we felt really good. A beautiful, very Christmassy atmosphere. Attentive service with very friendly staff. Excellent dishes, I personally ate ossubucho with polenta, very good, the pizza (pinsa) was also excellent, fair prices. Definitely coming back. Thank you all.

Alrededor del lago encontraréis un sinfín de restaurantes en los que probar las especialidades locales, pero si queréis un lugar con unas vistas de infarto, ¡no dejéis de acercaros a Capolinea Bristrot! Se encuentra junto a la estación superior del funicular y ofrece una carta rica, con un servicio rápido y a buen precio en una preciosa terraza con una panorámica increíble. Superrecomendable los pizzocheri alla valtellinese y el guiso de jabalí con polenta, ¡un 10!

LAKE COMO AT YOUR FEET WONDERFUL VIEW GET OFF THE CABLE CAR AND IN A FEW STEPS YOU HAVE A TABLE WITH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF LAKE COMO

Right next to the funicular station, busy restaurant with tables inside the premises and outside on the street, in an area without vehicle traffic. Very cool and friendly service by two girls. Good food (pizzoccheri and cassouela) and correct prices

20/05/2024: 10 - stars for us. Visiting from Florida & staying in Menaggio. Genuine hospitality & we felt very welcome. After reading about the famous “cheese balls” made with local buckwheat we had them of course. I could have eaten an entire order by myself! Delicious wine-shrimp ravioli-osso buco - tiramisu- grappa-limoncello…we were finally full. Plenty of parking. Nicely decorated restaurant & such nice owners! A must for anyone visiting the area!
05/05/2024: No trip to the west side of Lake Como is complete without a meal at La Vecchia Magnolia. Umberto runs a fabulous restaurant in every respect. Everything is spotless and in order. The windows are so clean you can hardly see the glass. Service is perfect. And the food is always superb. I have been returning here often since I first discovered it in 2019. I have always loved every bite and every sip of wine here, and so have the various friends I have brought with me. Definitely eat here and enjoy the great food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere.
