Ordered pizza and gelato. The pizza was not great, perhaps the ingredients were not as fresh as I expected. The gelato was pretty good. The server was attentive, patient and friendly.
This might be the only Gelateria in Brunate.

Wonderful small resteraunt at the top of the funicular up from Como. It's the first one you get to when you get off at the top. Many outside tables, all overlooking the view out over Como. Service is fast and efficient, food very good, pizza's very good, enough to share if you just want a snack or a meal for one if you are more hungry. The funicular is very popular and queues can be long. If possible get tickets from somewhere else then you can just hold up your ticket and go straight to the carriage.

Located conveniently at the top station of Funicular Brunate , it is a popular joint. Bonus is the top view of Lake como at a lazy street style set up. They have a dine in option as well.
They have Italian staples pizza , pasta and sides.Drink options included Campari, Aperol , Lemoncelo and snack to go with.
Service is good. Toilet is free when you are customer- plus point.
Overall enough space and good feeling.

Capolinea Bristrot Brunate/Lake Como
At the top of Lake Como’s Incline railway connecting Lake Como to Brunate is a small area with shops and restaurants that enjoy the amazing views atop the incline railway.
We stopped and ate at Capolinea Bristrot. The best pizza we have had in years and I speak as past manager of pizza restaurants -an award winning manager. The pizza was crazy good.
The staff was very nice and efficient.
In the corner next to us was a fireplace taking the slight chill of the inside air and creating a bit of ambiance.
The seating and tables were simple - the location was clean and well lit. The seating extended to the outside with better views of Lake Como.

Such a great restaurant in Italy! The atmosphere is super nice, and the staff is really friendly. If you love good pizza, this is the place—they make them in a pizza oven, and they’re just amazing! But it’s not just the pizza, everything is delicious. Honestly, I 100% recommend it. I don’t usually give recommendations, but this one? You can go with your eyes closed!
