As a loyal customer, I note with regret that the freshness of the products no longer seems to match what I once appreciated about the brand. It's natural to wonder whether success and increased demand have led to a production focus on volume rather than quality. Furthermore, considering the now rather high prices, the overall experience no longer lives up to the expectations created in years past.

The reviews all refer to Pasticceria Poppella, which is NOT this place. You DO NOT eat snowflakes here! The place in question is a VERY basic taralli shop. The price we were quoted was €16/kg, which isn't the cheapest. Some nearby places sell them for €12/kg. The price we paid was a flat rate: €20 for 25 taralli, which, once we got home, turned out to be exactly 1 kg. This raised the price from €16/kg to €20/kg. Below is a photo comparing a taralli we got here and one we got from the nearby Coppola Antonio bakery: very different. Coppola Antonio's is much more peppery, but the taralli from Poppella is more flavorful and crumbly. The taralli are made on-site; the shop has an open-view oven.

It was wow… My first time in Naples and an incredible memory… I've tried several things, but I have to admit that my absolute favorite remains the classic snowflake… a boooom!

We came here on a recommendation; apparently, Fiocco tastes like nowhere else in Naples. We opted for the classic and pistachio. They were so delicious, we ordered an extra portion. It was a real treat. If you prefer other flavors, you'll find a huge selection of desserts here. Delicious cappuccinos and friendly service are also available. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Naples.

Honestly, I don't understand why everyone raves about the snowflakes. They're good, but nothing special, and definitely not worth €2. I also tried a babà, and it was perfect. Recommended, but don't stop at the snowflakes.

It's located in the Sanità district. I found the people at the counter friendly, kind, and motivated. The taralli I bought, made on the spot, were delicious.

Taralli are simply wonderful: fragrant, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. What struck me most is that, even after a few days, they remain perfectly crumbly, as if freshly made, without losing their flavor or texture. You can taste the tradition and artisanal care in every bite. Perfect for a quick snack or to share with friends and family (they're a real treat when served warm with beer).

08/02/2026: We booked for the Spanish night. The sangria was good... As for the paella... Let's just say we had a good seafood risotto. The paella is something else entirely. The place is nice and the staff is friendly. Overall, not bad...
28/01/2026: What a great discovery!!! And to think I was very skeptical, especially because I took advantage of a €15 per person offer... I thought, "Well, even if we eat badly, I'll still have a different evening since it's Thursday." But instead... They served us a fairly generous portion of fries for two. The best part was the choice of sandwich: you could choose any type of sandwich from the menu, even the one that cost €14... we each had different ones, and they were delicious and filling. Now, I can't tell you about the quality of the ingredients; perhaps to keep costs down, they don't use top-quality products, but they were really good anyway. Then they brought us two half-liter mugs of beer each, and to finish, a pretty good crème brulee. Sweetly, when I went to pay, I expected that in addition to the €15 per person, they'd also charge a cover charge or service charge, since it wasn't specified in the offer, but instead, for two, it was only €30. What can I say? It was really well done, and it will definitely be a midweek stop I'll make often. P.s. there was also music and they played a musical game like saraband.

03/05/2026: A very elegant restaurant with a breathtaking view from the terrace, where you can dine. The food is truly delicious; the appetizers are highly recommended. The first courses are also excellent (I had the Genovese), and the grilled meats are varied and high-quality. The restaurant is part of the Slow Food network. The wine list is also very good, and the service is impeccable. The quality-price ratio is excellent.
20/04/2026: A lovely place we were given a lunch for our wedding anniversary and I must say exceptional gift is an extremely elegant place to eat and enjoy the lovely place excellent service also head waiter and all the staff compliments
