Intimate and well-kept environment, exquisite food, friendly service, it was a surprise, we ate 2 starters, 2 first courses and 2 second courses, enjoying a Traminer, the owner was attentive to our needs and helpful, very high level, truly recommended restaurant.

The best place in central Florence where you can enjoy an excellent meal based on fish or meat (starter, first course, second course, grilled food, desserts, vare and any) and sip some excellent local wine. On two floors, at the entrance you will almost always be greeted by the legendary and cheerful Giuseppe, who will accompany you to the most suitable table for you, meeting your needs, and with his savoir-faire he will put you at ease and recommend the best dishes of the day and the right accompanying wine. Try it to believe it. 😉

Hidden behind the buzz in a very quiet and gloomy street, the dining experience behind those concealed doors was truly extraordinary, standing out as a remarkable culinary adventure in Florence. We savored an exquisite tuna steak, encrusted with a delicate layer of pistachio that added a delightful crunch and nutty flavor. The sliced meat, artfully arranged with a vibrant arugula salad, brought together rich and peppery notes that complemented each bite perfectly. Next, we indulged in a beautifully prepared sea bass, which was tender and flaky, accompanied by a medley of fresh vegetables that enhanced its subtle flavors. Finally, the shrimp pasta tossed in a luscious clam sauce was a highlight, with the shrimp cooked to perfection, delivering a burst of umami in every mouthful. Each dish was remarkably light yet brimming with flavor. It is truly worth experiencing all three courses.

Very good trattoria, the food is good, the prices are reasonable and the service is impeccable and friendly.

A wonderful memorable dinner ! We had the fried shrimp and calamari, and the scallops in mussel cream as appetizers and they were absolutely delicious. Very fresh. For mains, we had the seafood and lobster pastas which were heavenly as well. The host was very accommodating to all our dietary restrictions and did not mind making changes at all. Seriously the best service I’ve ever had in Italy. If we had another night in Florence, we would definitely come back. The desserts were also unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and order the cheesecake. Thank you for the lovely meal :)

Exceptional!!! a starred chef has never tasted similar fish dishes

Locale in pieno centro storico, a due passi da via Tornabuoni, ma in una strada poco turistica. Ci sono stato con amici per via delle ottime recensioni sul pesce. Antipasto buono (moscardini fritti e cipolle) mentre non mi ha entusiasmato il primo (gnocchi ai crostacei). Un po’ deluso dalla carta dei vini: pochi champagne nè Trento doc nè Chablis nè Riesling di Alsazia o Germania. Comunque ci tornerò per dargli una seconda chance. Prezzi nella media vista la location.
