Ottima cena. Locale situato in una caratteristica piazzetta di Frascati. Personale giovane, gentile e accogliente. I primi tipici della tradizione romana buoni. Il piatto del giorno ottimo. Eccezionali i dolci. Al termine ci hanno offerto anche l’amaro. Carinissime le tazzine da caffè. Consigliato

Small but welcoming and quiet place, with only one helpful and courteous waiter. We took two bruschettone: the first with stracciatella anchovies and chicory and the second with artichokes and smoked scamorza, both very good. As a first course we had mezze sleeves with tail sauce, very tasty, full-bodied and full of sauce, and a carbonara, the best we have ever eaten, very creamy, with plenty of bacon and pecorino. We were undecided whether to have the second course, but after eating the first courses we couldn't resist trying the pork belly with sweet potato and leek puree, very soft pork that went very well with the cream and leeks. Finally we finished on a high note with a delicious tiramisu. I highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back.

Good morning, we want the old management back with the fried artichokes and the real schiaffoni made with meat sauce and abundant. Now I understand why the cost of the gricia and that of the cacio e pepe are identical: because the bacon is not at all crunchy and has no personality. Furthermore, I believe that the choice of dishes offered on the menu does not fully respect the customers as it leaves very little choice. I hope this can only be a constructive criticism. Where did the previous chef go...

a cena a Frascati, abbiamo selezionato questa location che ci convinceva. siamo arrivati per le 20 ed eravamo i primi, poi il locale si è riempito. Il locale non è grandissimo e si sta abbastanza vicini, ma a noi non spiace, anzi. abbiamo ordinato una bruschetta (7 euro, troppo piccola), una porchetta 2 primi (ottima la carbonara, davvero), due carciofi, un piatto di puntarelle, un dolce (zabaione, buono), una bottiglia di vino consigliata dal simpatico ragazzo che ha curato il nostro tavolo, 2 ratafia...insomma ci abbiamo dato dentro. costo totale 95 euro, ci sta tutto e possiamo tranquillamente consigliare questo posto che tra l'altro si trova in una piazzetta molto carina.

The Simonetti winery is one of those places where any good intention to keep things light disappears in an instant. Come on, who are we kidding?! You come here to really enjoy yourself. Carbonara, fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, porchetta and all the other irresistible dishes make you completely lose track of time. And yes, maybe a few extra kilos escape us... but it's really worth it, because every bite will leave you with an indelible memory of what you tasted at the fantastic Cantina Simonetti. Congratulations guys... and thank you (indeed, keep it yours 😉)!

Incannucciata

17/03/2025: A restaurant with great attention to detail where you can eat very fresh fish. We had a mixed appetizer incannucciata, spaghettoni with clams, a tuna in crust accompanied by a chicory and two coffees..We were also given some donuts as gifts..
16/03/2025: All in all a good fish restaurant. Some very good dishes: really excellent for example the fried fish and the fish ravioli, others a little less so, for example gnocchi with fish (it didn't seem like a very successful combination, at least with that type of fish), fettuccine with seafood, cod with tomato (a little too salty). I would recommend management to: 1) reduce the portions a little, in particular of the first courses, which are too abundant and at the same time reduce the prices a little in general. A final price judged a little too high, with dishes remaining partially on the plates, is a double mistake. I would focus more on encouraging tastings of more, less abundant dishes. 2) Have ready-made desserts available. Preparing desserts doesn't seem like a great idea at the moment. Beyond the waiting times, in the end I find the final result to be inferior compared to a previously prepared dessert which has solidified a minimum. Clearly these are personal opinions and should be taken as such. For the rest: nice place, kind people, clean bathrooms.
