The restaurant is a bit shabby. I'd say quite sad. The food, however, is more than decent.

Excellent experience.
We came to lunch at the Sienese winery somewhat by chance. It was an exceptional discovery. Fast and friendly staff, delicious dishes typical of Livorno's tradition, affordable prices but excellent quality. We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, typical of Livorno. The service is good, and the food is excellent, but the portions are a bit small. The quality and price are fair. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been before.

Five of us went for lunch on a Saturday, and after reading the reviews, I agree with many things, but I definitely disagree with others. The place is quiet and clean. Perhaps a little more attentive service would be appreciated, but I have to say it was limited for the large number of people there. The mixed antipasto was good, and the seafood risotto was perhaps the best. It's a shame about the sea urchin on the first course (there were practically none). The fried food was very good, and so was the cacciucco (fish stew).
I recommend it for a good, quick, and affordable lunch, but nothing more. Definitely worth trying again!

The mixed seafood appetizer was very good and plentiful. The first courses (tagliatelle with clams and pasta with seafood) were a bit too salty for my taste (though I use very little salt). The cantuccini weren't exactly Tuscan: they were dark, soft, and full of cinnamon.
The worst thing, however, was the temperature: incredibly cold. They only had one splitter on in the room, and it definitely wasn't enough. No one asked for the other one, but seeing people eating in down jackets, and one even wearing a hat, couldn't that have been a sign that it was cold?
Good value.
Very friendly staff, perfect timing between courses.
Make a reservation because it's always busy.
