Exceptional seafood.
My wife, mother-in-law, and I had the pici with cuttlefish and truffle, mixed antipasto, and caciucco (fish stew).
The cod and anchovies were phenomenal; the mussels tasted like the sea.
The cod was simply sublime.
The caciucco was exceptional.
I was truly satisfied. I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

As a family of three, we finally found the Cantina after a long search and enjoyed lemon ravioli with squid, Tuscan-style cod, salt cod, and lemon chicken. Highly recommended.

Every time I come to Livorno, we eat here, and every time I regret not coming more often. I'm updating my review after returning for my birthday. I think they've changed management, and honestly, we've gone from strength to strength. A real shame. The food was terrible, the food never arrived, and the service was incredibly slow.

Livorno in October is absolutely loud and uncomfortable. We walked in here without any prior knowledge and were delighted. Authentic, rustic atmosphere, extremely friendly staff who spoke good English. The menu is loaded into Italian via a barcode. Prices are more than reasonable. The house wine is bueno, pasta bueno, and the tiramisu for dessert is the icing on the cake. A definite recommendation for a great meal in Livorno.

Male non si stà, ma sono rimasto parzialmente deluso. Avevo altri ricordi.
Lo ricordo come un locale dove prendevi antipasto, primo, secondo e accessori a cuor leggero mentre ora non è più così, ma il problema non è questo.
Tuttavia i piatti dovrebbero essere un pò più "spinti" invece mi sono risultati abbastanza neutri di sapori (il riso nero non sapeva di nulla, la carbonara di poco e il pomodoro delle cozze ripiene poteva essere molto più saporito)
La nota più negativa il baccalà firtto in carpione (misero e ghiaccio). La nota positiva i ravioni porro e agrumi.
Nel complesso non è negativo, ma il rapporto quantità/sapori/prezzo è cambiato.

Siamo stati a cena di sabato sera, due famiglie con due figli per una per un tavolo da 8 persone.
Menu variegato, si va dal classico cacciucco ad altri piatti, buoni anche per bambini più piccoli.
Tutto buonissimo.
