Cantina Reggiana In Chiavari

Excellent We finally made it to eat after several attempts to find a seat. Now I understand why.

There's no need to mention it, but I'd like to emphasize its confirmation. Christmas lunch 2025 was excellent, with 12 tasting courses of fish-based appetizers that alone were worth the entire meal, such as ravioli with herbs and DOC ragù, etc. A fixed menu meal including drinks and a Moscato wine to finish. Plus, Adriana's friendliness... all at a reasonable price in a family atmosphere. Thank you and well done.

Stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of a local, and I have to say, it was delicious. I ordered tagliolini allo scoglio, microfiltered water, and coffee. The tagliolini were very tasty and flavorful; the portions were adequate. The atmosphere was rustic and family-friendly. Prices were slightly above market.

It was once normal. I went back after a long break but I was very dissatisfied. Everything was very praised but very unsatisfactory. I really don't recommend it.

A restaurant to be admired. Impeccable service, so friendly it makes you feel at home. Excellent dishes, generous portions, fair prices, even low for what they offer. The tagliolini allo scoglio and calamari alla diavola are highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food, confusing service, excessive price for the place and the service

I ate three meals here over two consecutive days as a guest at a trade fair in Chiavari. I can't comment on the prices, but I can say that I ate good food, perhaps not too elaborate, and in quantities worthy of an all-you-can-eat meal. After the first and second courses, I was exhausted (and I'm notoriously a big eater). The pesto pasta, beef stew, and fried anchovies were excellent.

A truly authentic place with tasty food hidden among the alleys...

Cenato all’aperto sotto al portico, antipasto misto di pesce di otto portate, praticamente un assaggio di mezzo menu, cozze, seppie coi piselli, totani ripieni acciughe fritte, scampi allo zola…e altro… tutto buonissimo! Con questo si era già a posto tuttavia ormai avevamo ordinato anche un primo ( spaghetti alle arselle), un secondo (frittura mista con una varietà di pesce che non vedevo da anni, oltre che abbondantissima!) e due contorni (melanzane e cavolo ripieni) e alla fine ci siam dovuti far fare il carroccio da portare a casa. Unica pecca gli spaghetti, buoni e con tantissime vongole ma anche due dita d’olio in fondo al piatto. Non proprio una finezza… probabilmente stavano chiudendo la cucina vista l’ora e han vuotato la pentola nel mio piatto! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! da ripetere!
