Cantina Raustella In Serrara fontana

This was the highlight of our whole trip to Ischia. Francesco makes you feel like family, sharing all about the history of this magical place. We felt so lucky to be there, the food and drinks were amazing and the scenery was something out of a dream. If you’re in Ischia don’t pass up the chance to visit, it will be your favorite too. I can’t wait to go back!!

A discovery of a magnificent family estate shared by Francisco! What a treat to taste your wine and share your family’s treasures. We will keep very fond memories of it. However, you must book in advance, in a group if possible to fully enjoy the tasting. A place not to be missed! Thanks Francisco!

I didn't expect such a beautiful and unique place... The cellar is wonderful, carved into the rock... We ate very well, the service was impeccable and friendly, it was a treat... Recommended with flying colors

It is a fantastic place... As soon as you cross the threshold, you immerse yourself in a wonderful world, made of nature and tradition... The cellar is a place naturally dug into the rock, respect for history and ancient tradition with the tools of the work and effort highlighted on the ceiling... If we talk about their traditional dish, the Ischitana rabbit, it is something truly indescribable... If we add Francesco's passionate service it is priceless... The courtesy and friendliness are from home... I hope to see you again soon...

We have organized a visit to the Raustella winery with dinner in the company of friends. It was a fabulous evening, from the visit of the cellar, dug by hand into the tuff over 300 years ago, with all the objects of the time for making wine, and other very particular sculptures made with wood and iron. Then we moved on to the typical Ischian dinner based on rabbit, in a room worthy of a museum. The welcome and hospitality of the family is excellent, they make you feel at home. Congratulations we will be back soon.

Sono stato con la mia famiglia in questo posto molto suggestivo. Una piccola criticità è che di sera il viale per arrivare alla cantina è completamente buio forse da illuminare meglio. Arrivati, abbiamo fatto un giro nella vecchia cantina di famiglia; tutto molto interessante e, infine, prima di arrivare al ristorante, abbiamo percorso una meravigliosa salita con questi lampadari antichi che rendeva tutto più magico. Il servizio è molto accogliente e ti fanno sentire parte della famiglia, creando una atmosfera molto conviviale. Per la cucina devo fare un piccolo appunto: per chi ama il coniglio in tutte le sue sfumature (come il sottoscritto) la cena è eccellente dal primo al sugo di coniglio al coniglio vero e proprio; per chi invece non lo apprezza si troverà una proposta molto limitata. Conto è in linea con l’esperienza offerta. Sicuramente per gli amanti della cucina ischitana questo posto è un must!

We've done a few wine tastings but Raustella easily takes the crown as our favourite. We were originally about to cancel the tour as we couldn't arrive on time due to the buses. Francesco was so easy about it, told us to come whenever we could before closing. I'm so glad we did. Two bottles of wine, meats and cheeses, bruschetta, fruit, honey, dessert and a tour of the beautiful winery later - wow. Totally blown away. Walked away with a bottle of red and delicious limoncello honey. Do yourself a favor and book this - beautiful family and beautiful winery that truly deserve the business.

Francesco is the best friend you always wanted to meet on vacation! He gladly welcomed my husband and I to his property to celebrate our honeymoon! We scootered there and didn’t call ahead. He seated us and gave us his full attention while still maintaining attention to all the other tours. His wine is superb, bruschetta amazing, and the limoncello honey is out of this world! He is passionate about his work and he should be! His mother and father are so sweet. This is a must visit!

Such a beautiful winery with rich family history. Francesco was an excellent host and wine maker. If you are in Ischia don’t pass up this experience!

Posto incantevole , romantico , la guida di francesco e’ preziosa per apprezzare a fondo le radici e la storia della cantina , cibo buono e ben servito , personale veloce e simpatico , vino di produzione propria buono , prodotti genuini coltivati dal loro orto , bisognerebbe solo illuminare il viale d accesso !
