Cantina La Barbera In Napoli

I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant and was particularly impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, perfect for a special evening. The service was impeccable, with the staff proving kind, attentive and always available to our requests. The menu was creative and the portions generous. The presentation of the dishes was a true work of art. In particular I tasted the pizza and the grilled fish and it was an extraordinary culinary experience. The ingredients were fresh and high quality and the flavor was simply delicious. I highly recommend to all lovers of authentic Italian cuisine.

I celebrated my birthday at Cantina La Barbera, excellent and plentiful food, attention to each guest, including children, beautiful atmosphere. Questo locale sapientemente gestito vi sa accogliere con garbo e cirtesia. Ambienti confortevoli ma anche in Terrazza si sta bene. Buona carne con buona patata di compagnia e un ottimo risotto funghi e tartufo sono un must di elevato standard. Complimenti.

Food okay. There was no sign of tablecloths on the tables. Cutlery placed on a small plate. Glasses that "stuck" to the table evidently not cleaned well.

It is a multifaceted place. A great restaurant and a nice tavern (which this time I only visited). A wine list with important labels, a complete menu, which includes both meat and fish. Dishes that are not only tasty, refined, elegant in presentation and right in quantity. Absolutely good prices and perhaps even a little below average if you consider all the elements I have listed. Impeccable staff.

Very characteristic environment with quality food and excellent service

I have eaten here several time and the food was excellent, Except this time. I was disappointed with the food the food had way to much salt. On my eggplant Parmigiano I found a piece of plastic in it. I brought it up to the waitress and she showed it to the Manger of which nothing was done. I wasn't even ask if I wanted another serving. Disappointing. I usually have a steak. Oven roasted potatoes, with a salad. The potatoes have always been great cooked perfectly. However, they did taste like they always did. I couldn't figure out what the unknown taste till my friend told the potatoes had curry in them. I didn't complain but, I didn't eat them. The steak was cooked perfectly to order However it had to much salt. I don't know if the chef is new or the same one as the last few times but, the food tasted whole lot different. I have to think if I am ever going to return again. Respectfully submitted

E' un ristorante che frequentavo anni fa. Poi ebbi qualche cattiva esperienza con il servizio e non ci andai piu'... saputo che era cambiata la gestione ci sono tornato e bene ho fatto! Il locale mantiene il suo stile elegante e senza tempo, con i tavoli ben distanziati, e ha guadagnato nel servizio, che e' attento e professionale ma anche simpatico e familiare. La cucina e' di elevato livello. Non sperimentale ma comunque originale ( finalmente un risotto senza soffritto di cipolla!) e con ottime materie prime. Con un particolare riguardo alle carni, rispettando in questo la antica tradizione del locale. Buona la scelta dei vini e qualche distillato raro... in ultimo: e' ben frequentato, difficile trovare gente chiassosa e con i telefonini a mille!
