Located in the historic center of Frascati, this well-maintained restaurant features beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. It has a panoramic terrace overlooking Rome. The first courses are delicious, and the meat is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

You can eat at practically any time, in fact, when the kitchen closes the well-stocked counter still guarantees cold cuts, cheeses, pickled vegetables, bread, drinks and of course the inevitable porchetta!

A true Roman restaurant that also makes excellent pizza in the heart of Frascati. Authentic and friendly atmosphere, excellent house wine, and simple yet hearty and truly tasty dishes. Friendly and informal service, just how we like it. A genuine place we'll always be happy to return to.

Behind the covered market is this winery/restaurant, one of the longest-running in Frascati. We used to come here as students because we could host large groups and not spend a lot. It's changed a bit now, but not so much that it's lost its simple, homey identity. The service is courteous and helpful. The quality of the dishes is overall good. I really liked the zucchini blossom, but the supplì, a little less so: I'd increase the breading and mozzarella. The pasta dishes were said to be very tasty, and the cacio e pepe in the Parmesan basket was superb. The vegetables were also delicious. The house wine is a bit basic but drinkable. The price has remained fairly reasonable.

A restaurant in the center of Frascati, the decor reflects tradition.
The same goes for the food: porchetta, coppiette, cured meats and cheeses, amatriciana, gricia, and carbonara. There are also second courses and Roman-style pizza (crusted, crispy, and thin).
Good flavors and well-cooked.
The only flaw was the service: the waiters were inattentive, and we ate in the cold. There was a patio heater, and when we asked to turn it on, they told us the gas had run out...
The same goes for the wood-burning stove: it was turned off. Eating in a coat isn't exactly the best.

Six of us went on a Sunday. We ordered two platters with various cured meats (and porchetta) and some cheeses, all good quality. The first courses were very good, but not exceptional, and unpretentious. Our only concern was the second courses: the chicken didn't seem cooked very well, but the flavor was still excellent.
The house wine was sweet and slightly acidic, but not bad. Overall, the value for money was truly excellent. I highly recommend it for a Sunday with friends.

A typical restaurant in the Castelli Romani. The ambience is everything you'd expect from a quaint location. What I wasn't expecting was the quality, flavor, and attention to detail I found in the food. Traditional Roman recipes are a delight for the palate... highly recommended!
