It was an experience, the wines were lovely and the food was beautiful. The area is stunning, and it was a lovely evening. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star is we would have liked to have had more information on the wines we had purchased.

A very suggestive cellar, with a very large terrace overlooking an alley of Lake Como. I went with my boyfriend with the smartbox he received for his birthday, and they offered us a glass of wine and a platter of bread, cold cuts and cheeses. The products are really excellent as is the wine. Recommended for a romantic tasting.

Arriving in Tremezzo for a four night stay we had this little wine bar on our radar, I think thanks to a travel guide. all we wanted was a simple supper, a relaxed environment and a glass of wine. We got that and much more. The staff were knowledgable and friendly running an Aladdin's Cave of wine over three floors.
We had a wonderful sparkling rose, local white and red wines and a selection of local cheeses and meats.
All sat on a quiet terrace overlooking the back street with Como Lago in the distance.
One I would recommend for sure. We booked online to avoid disappointment.

A few stairs to climb to discover a shaded terrace under the vines. The place is rather quiet and far from the hustle and bustle of the road below. This is a wine bar and wine merchant with good platters to taste. Very nice wine list. Place recommended by the Guide du Routard. One of the waiters also speaks French.

If you are nearby you definitely have to go there. For us it was a chance discovery and we were overwhelmed. The sommelier speaks several languages and explains the wines and food (regional) down to the smallest detail. The wine tasting and specialty cheese and charcuterie board were great. We have never eaten such good cheese and ham before. The wine was also very tasty, we took a bottle with us straight away. Much. Thank you for this great experience 🙂

Lots of photos already submitted show the food and wine experience here. Unfortunately, my meat and cheese dish had been started before I could take a photo :o)
We had the three wines taster, which were all explained for us. Slight issue here was the size of glass involved was not made clear, perhaps a misunderstanding. It's a shame that the service level dropped in that we were not offered desserts for quite some time after finishing our meat and cheese.
Careful if you are seated against the wall as my wife's top was marked.
The staff were all very friendly, helpful and seemed to be multi-lingual. Overall, the bar is a place worth a visit.
