Cantina Do Spade In Venezia

Wir sind Wiederholungstäter ... alle 2 Jahre mind. einen Abend erst zum Cicchetten und danach zum Abendessen. Die Cicchette (eigentlich gibt es mehr frittierte Kleinigkeiten wie Polpette, Olive ascolane, Käsebällchen) sind einfach nur lecker. Der Service ist aufmerksam, wobei es immer sehr voll ist und zum cicchetten ist Selbstbedienung. Wir hatten zu 6 einen Tisch ergattert und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - nur bissl wärmer hätte es sein können, denn dauernd war die Türe auf und draußen war es a..kalt. Danach um 19h ging es nach hinten ins Restaurant. Klein und einfach, leider auch nicht wärmer. Wir hatten alle 2 Gerichte, also Antipasto/Primo und Primo/Secondo. Alles war wunderbar - gut heiß (d.h. frisch gemacht), reichlich - danach wirklich pappsatt. Service prima, Essen sehr lecker. Besonders gut die Leber! Preis/Leistung: 60 pro Nase .... glücklich und pappsatt Empfehlung: immer wieder gerne, meine absolute Lieblingskneipe in Venedig

locale gradevole nel suo insieme, non molto grande quindi se affollato si deve aver pazienza per avere un tavolo. servizio molto cordiale. disponibile al dialogo la ragazza al banco; non scontato, molto apprezzato. cicchetti molto buoni, un filino oleosi. su tutti le capesane gratinate e fiori di zucca con baccalà mantecato. prezzo onestissimo.

Famed taverna near Rialto that opened in 1487; Giacomo Casanova is said to have been a patron. A great place for an ombra & cicchetti or a full meal of tasty, traditional Venetian dishes. Had a savory sarde in saor and the best risi e bisi ever! (Venetian risotto with green peas, scampi and radicchio)

Normal... Nothing I expected better.

The place is a little tricky to find but worth it. The food is good.

Do Spade was the last stop of our Bacari Tour 2024; even though we arrived just before the kitchen closed, the staff prepared excellent fried fish for us, light and crunchy. We washed them down with prosecco and Traminer. The cicchetti are also excellent, and there is a lot of variety.

Spaghetti al nero, really nice a tiny bit salty but overall nice. Spaghetti alla busata was amazing, perfect umami from the prawn broth and tiny bit spicy on top.

Excellent characteristic Venetian place

Great food if slightly lacklustre service, they weren’t even busy.
