The location is lovely, and the cellar is unique with its barrel vaults and exposed brick. The dishes are good, but nothing special. I wasn't sold on the chef's choice of pairing a cacio e pepe with truffle; the sauce overpowered the already delicate flavor of the truffle. The desserts were bland. I'm sorry, but I wasn't satisfied.

A casual restaurant in the center of a village in Monferrato. Excellent service from the very friendly and organized staff. I ordered the appetizer of the day, creamed cod on a pumpkin cream sauce paired with curry and saffron—a truly top-notch dish. The highlight, however, is their ravioli filled with robiola cheese and prosciutto, with butter and hazelnuts—a must-try. The wine is excellent and well-priced. I'll definitely be back.

We went for lunch as a couple without a reservation. We tried the schiciole they prepare with various fillings. Then we had a first course with a drink and coffee for a fair price of €32.50. Nice little place, friendly staff. We ate inside because there was no room outside. (There were quite a few people because there was a treasure hunt going on.)

The ambiance inside is rustic, but outside is very pleasant, right in the middle of the village. The young man's service was attentive, friendly, and quick. The food itself was more or less "OK."

05/06/2025: Wat een fijn restaurant. Fijne, pure producten. Voor mijn vrouw de Vitello tonato en voor mij de verse pasta met ragout. Daarna voor beiden de perfect klaargemaakte tagliata van de grill. Erbij voor beiden een glas Barbera superieure. Na warme chocolade gebak met twee bolletjes fris ijs. Na koffie met een digestief. Bediening zakelijk maar vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom uitstekend adres wat even buiten de stad ligt. Wij zijn hier nog een maand en komen daarin zeker nog terug.
19/01/2025: Il locale è molto carino. Abbiano optato per una carne cruda (squisita!) come antipasto e una tagliata di fassona con patate come secondo. Come dolce uno strudel con gelato alla crema, davvero buonissimo.

04/11/2025: A one-of-a-kind location with its brick vaults and book pages that seem to fly in every direction. Very helpful and friendly staff. Extensive menu featuring local products and generously portioned dishes. They have a wide selection of wines thanks to the wine bar upstairs. Definitely worth returning!
