In the fantastic village of Cocconato you will find "La cantina del Ponte", a place where, upon entering, you will find yourself immersed in a familiar and very welcoming atmosphere. The owners are wonderful people, kind, helpful, smiling and ready to satisfy your every need in very quick times and with particular care and attention to the customer.
I had the opportunity to taste both the schiciole and the ravioli: just from the smell you understand the goodness, the genuineness and the simplicity of the dishes, eating them, well... Something unique! They also offer the possibility of tasting platters of cold cuts and cheeses (I recommend you cannot pass by Cocconato without tasting the Robiola and the Ferrero cold cuts) and a vast selection of labels.
"La cantina del Ponte" for me wins over everyone, well done well done well done 😘

Service very welcoming, pleasant and efficient. Food was good but not amazing. The slow cooked beef was very good but the cod with capers and olives was over cooked, so disappointing. The ravioli a little unbalanced on the herbs and seasoning.
The atmosphere and decor all fine. Wine selection very good to my taste.

Cocconato è una bella località turistica e questo locale all'ingresso del borgo, oltre a proporre cucina tradizionale, presenta una lunga lista di schiciole, con diverse farciture. La schiciola è una specialità locale, consistente in una focaccia rotonda gustosa e leggera. Con una versione "mega" a testa abbiamo pranzato ottimamente. Tra le quattro diverse schiciole che abbiamo ordinato, mi è piaciuta soprattutto la "regina", con pomodoro, robiola e origano.
Il servizio è stato cortese, il conto per niente salato.

Period restaurant located in the square of the historic center of Cocconato, with very well-kept interiors.
The cellar on the lower floor is particular and rich.
Ordered a raw meat with mustard ice cream cream, a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses (with all the various robiola specialties of the area), a Schisciola (similar to a pan pizza but less leavened) with melted robiola and mixed seasonal vegetables.
Two glasses of wine, one white (Pinot grigio delle Venezie) and one red (Grignolino).
To conclude, a cup of strawberries with cream ice cream and a hazelnut and chocolate cake with cream.
Staff more than friendly.
The choice and freshness of the raw materials should not be underestimated.
Prices slightly above average, but for the dishes served it is absolutely worth it!
