Delicious and genuine ice cream, both the one with cream and the one with fruit, coming from Prato we stop at the post office to get it.

My wife and I headed to Cantina del gelato based on a recommendation from our local Airbnb host. This place did not disappoint. The flavours we got were Florence creme, mint+ginger+pineapple, and passionfruit. I definitely want to go back! It was so good, we forgot to take a picture! Sorry!

This was one of my favourite gelato spots in Florence out of many that we tried! I tried 3 flavours - Florence’s cream, coffee, and strawberry cheesecake. All were delicious! Service was fast and friendly, and there were tables on the street where we could sit and enjoy. Definitely recommend.

Just outside the busy square - the gelato here was top quality. We eat gelato as a family almost every night when staying in Italy - this was among the best of them. Other novelties available that were quite good - but the gelato is the draw.

Locale in Via Borgo alla Croce dove fanno non solo il gelato ma anche le crepes. Il ragazzo al banco gentilissimo, possibilita' di sedersi ai tavoli fuori.

27/10/2024: Today we met Sergio and Debora for the first time, very kind and friendly managers of Happy Ice. We tasted their crumbly, delicious, melt-in-your-mouth shortcrust pastry biscuits. Their chocolate fondant ice cream is also exceptional. Highly recommended! :)

Green, go!

25/06/2024: We discovered it almost by accident and now we love it. Excellent food at super honest prices, informal but attentive service. The staff is always available to give you advice on the preparation of the dishes, thanks to them we make homemade seitan which is really good. Inside you can buy a large variety of organic food products. Highly recommended!
02/05/2024: Awesome veggie restaurant with an eco shop. The ladies were absolutely lovely and food light, healthy and delicious. Cute resident doggie 😊
