I met Isabella and Andrea at two tastings organized elsewhere. I was impressed by their expertise and hospitality, so I decided to visit them at their wine shop. The place is very well-kept, the bathroom is very clean—I emphasize the bathroom because I think it's the calling card of any establishment. A very refined selection of wines and spirits. Excellent food quality. Excellent service. What can I say... I have to give these guys my highest compliments... keep up the good work...

A gem in the area, with a wide selection of spirits and wines, and very friendly and helpful staff.

We attended several wine tastings with several friends, paired with good-quality dishes. One of the tastings involved guessing the grape variety, and if you guessed correctly, you won a bottle of that same grape. A question to the owners: we guessed two, but what happened to the bottles? You said you didn't have any at the time, so we left our phone numbers and... nothing. We're waiting.

By chance I booked at this restaurant, the place was welcoming and refined and the staff was courteous and kind, the food was really excellent and the wines, needless to say, fantastic, I would return because I was really satisfied.

More of a wine bar than a restaurant! Very welcoming, and the owners are very friendly. The food is good, and the menu is adequate, without too much choice, which in my opinion only tends to confuse. I recommend it.

Exorbitant prices: aperitif + 1 portion of aubergine meatballs: €30!

Impeccable wine shop, everything is extremely well-kept, the bathrooms are always clean. I was there last night, the owner recommended the wine to go with the food... wonderful! Served and pampered by Ombretta, we can't help but return very soon. Finally, a place where there's heart and professionalism. Thanks Isabella!

Certe serate non si raccontano. Si sussurrano. Come un segreto che brilla fra i bicchieri vuoti e le risate che restano nell’aria anche dopo la chiusura. Cinque amici — allegri, saggi e impuniti — si sono ritrovati ieri all’Enoteca Castrocielo, in quel luogo sospeso dove il vino diventa parola, e la parola si fa memoria liquida. Ad accoglierli, la padrona di casa: Isabella. Sommelier dall’animo gentile e il palato colto, regista silenziosa di un piccolo rito laico. Si comincia piano, come si deve. Un Tamellini Soave, che non è vino: è seta sulle gengive. Colore giallo tenue, profuma di fiori bianchi e mandorla fresca, accarezza il palato come una brezza sulla collina di Monteforte. Un piccolo miracolo in bottiglia, capace di elevare anche un aperitivo in piedi a danza leggera dell’anima. Poi si siede, la compagnia. E arrivano i 3 antipasti Castrocielo, serviti con sobrietà e cuore. Assaggi misurati, mai banali. Pochi bocconi, ma scelti come versi in un haiku. E lì arriva il secondo incanto: Vino Rosato Galluccio – Azienda La Tribuleira. Un rosato che arrossisce appena nel bicchiere, ma non per timidezza. Profuma di pesca di vigna e melone, con una carezza di glicine e un’eco di pepe rosa. In bocca è sapido, vivo, irresistibile come un bacio rubato in piena estate. Il cuore si scalda. E lo stomaco chiede verità crude: 3 tartare di tonno, 2 di Fassona. Inizia la danza delle forchette, l’amicizia che si spezza in condivisione. E qui entra in scena lui, il protagonista silenzioso: Nobilis Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato. Vino rosso dallo sguardo intenso, colore rubino e anima selvatica. Profuma di petali appassiti, ciliegie sotto spirito, e spezie orientali. In bocca è morbido ma fiero, come un ricordo che non sai se dimenticare o rivivere ancora. Un compagno perfetto per chi ama con lentezza, e mastica il presente con gratitudine. Poi il gran finale. Dolci scelti, precisi, un saluto dolce alla bocca e alla notte. E nel calice un nettare d’oro: I Vignali – Raggio di Sole. Moscato puro, ma niente affatto banale. Sa di albicocche candite, fiori d’arancio e un tocco di miele che non stanca, ma accompagna. Come una carezza all’uscita, quando già si pensa a tornare. Enoteca Castrocielo non è solo un luogo dove si beve bene. È uno di quei posti dove, per qualche ora, si riesce a dimenticare il tempo. Dove si ride forte, ma si ascolta piano. Dove il vino è serio, ma chi lo beve può anche permettersi di non esserlo. Una serata spensierata, ma non troppo. E forse è proprio questo il vero lusso.
